Perrie loved being in Jade and Jesy's class. It made her feel like a big girl. She was sitting next to Jade right now as she worked on a project. It wasn't a school project but she called it a project so she could feel important. It was Monday of the following week.
"Ta-da." The blonde said showing Jade a piece of coloured paper.
Jade looked up from her notes to see Perrie. "Oh wow. What is it Pez?"
Perrie frowned. "I know you can draw better than me. You don't have to rub it in Jeed." She said defensively. She had a stack of coloured papers to her left on the desk she sat at. They all had a similar design on them.
Jade rolled her eyes. "I wasn't rubbing it in. I was just asking a question."
Perrie rolled her eyes too. "It's a card Jeed. I made it so I could hand out invitations to my party." The child picked up the other papers and stacked them together with the one she was holding, a pleased expression on her face.
Jade raised an eyebrow. "What party Perrie?" The blonde was random but this was new.
"The one I'm having on Saturday. I'll start handing out invitations as soon as I feel less shy." Perrie said staring at the groups of children around the classroom. They all looked scary. The ones in her class wouldn't come to her party because Perrie knew they didn't like her. They all said that she wanted to be with the big kids too much. She ignored them though. All she knew was that Jade was her best friend and that was that.
Jade was going to ask Perrie if her mother knew about this when Leigh walked into the classroom. Jade smiled. "This is the first time you've come in way before Jake and Jesy, Leigh." She commented as the girl sat in front of her and turned to face her and Perrie.
"My Mum wanted to head to work early so she brought me to school a whole forty minutes before I usually come in." Leigh-Anne said as she smiled at Jade. "You and Pez are always on time. Why's that?"
"Our Mams have to head to the hospital at five so we usually come to school at six." Jade explained happy to talk to Leigh on her own.
"Wow. Okay. That's real early though. You two must be early birds." Leigh-Anne said as she pulled a tissue out of her pocket to wipe at her nose. She had allergies right now. She sniffed.
"We hate getting up early." Perrie said with a frown. She took up one of her invitations and handed it to Leigh. "You're invited to my party on Saturday." She said shyly.
Leigh accepted the invitation. "Thank you Perrie. I'll be sure to come." She said with a giggle deciding to play along with whatever little game the little blonde was playing. She found Perrie adorable.
"Well if it isn't Tinker Bell from Pixie hollow." Leigh heard the voice of Samantha say behind her.
Leigh turned around to face her. The girl had her whole clique with her and they looked as mean as ever. "Leave me alone."
"I haven't even done anything yet. You gonna tell Mrs. Thomas Pixie? Huh?" Samantha asked meanly as her crew laughed.
"No she's gonna tell her Mummy." Another girl said as they all laughed again.
Leigh pouted. "No . . ." She said softly. "Go away. Don't talk to me."
"Yeah leave her alone." Jade said with a frown. She forgot that these girls usually came to school early as well.
"Shut up freak!" Samantha spat at Jade causing the younger girl to flinch. "I like your hair Pixie. It's all nice and curly. I always liked when you wore it out." The girl pulled at Leigh's hair harshly and her crew laughed.
