America's POV

My maids have to make me new clothes. My stomach is almost like a watermelon. I'm three months now. Six more to go. Today we're going to find out if were going to have a little prince, or a little princess.

Maxon peeks his head through my study door. "Ready?" He says. "Yep," I say taking his arm. Aspen follows closely. No rebel attack, no one has tried to kill us.

We get to the hospital wing and to our room. Aspen waits outside the room. Dr. Melody walks in. "Afternoon your majesties," she says cheery. "Would you two like to find out the gender?"

"Yes," we both say.

"Any bets?" She says getting the equipment ready.

"A girl," I say.

"A boy," Maxon says.

"We'll see," I say.

She applies the cold ultrasound gel on my stomach. She gets the stick out and rubs it across my stomach. "Congratulations! It's a girl!" She says.

"Told you," I say to Maxon.

"We're going to have a little princess running around here," he says holding my hand. "Hold on," Dr. Melody says, "It seems we have a second heart beat. It's a boy!"

"Told you," Maxon says.

"We were both right," I say.

"Congratulations your majesties. This is terrific news," Dr. Melody says. She wipes the gel off and walks out. "This is great news. Two little kids running around everywhere," I say holding Maxon's hands. He plants a kiss on my lips. "I love you, " he says.

"Love you too," I say, "Actually I love you three." Maxon chuckles to himself. "Now I'm going to have three kids running around the palace," I say. We get up and go to my study. "That baby bump suits you," he says sitting on a couch. "Tonight is the report. Do you want to tell them the news?" He asks.

"Sure," I say sitting at my desk. I start working on my unfinished papers. I look up at Maxon. He's sitting on the couch watching me. "Are you going to your study?" I ask. He shakes his head, "I thought I'd spend some time with the three of you."

"I have to finish this. You're not going to be missing anything. Unless you want to do this budget."

"That's okay," he says. He lays on the couch and gets comfortable. I look up after five mintues. A snore escapes his mouth that's wide open. I sigh at him. He's Maxon, and Maxon is Maxon.

I get the budget done and look at my jam packed calendar. Maxon still is asleep after three hours. The report is in thirty minutes. I shake him and he jumps up. "I'm up," he says. "Ready for the report?" I ask. He nods and holds my hand. We walk down to the stage. They apply more make up on my face. "Five mintues," a director says. I hop off the chair and head to my normal spot.

Before I know it Gavril has already finished his intro. We walk up there hand in hand, and sit on the couch. "How are the three royals today?" He asks. I use that fake chuckle. "Actually all four of us are doing great," I say. "Four!" Gavril says, "You're expecting twins?"

"One boy, one girl," Maxon says.

"This is great news!" Gavril says. I hear a director run up behind me. "Your majesty, Lady Marlee is in labor. She wants you there right now," he whispers. I nod.

"It looks like Queen America must go to a very urgent matter. It was nice having you four with us tonight. We'll see you Illea next week. Have a great night," he says.

I speedily walk to the hospital wing. "What's wrong?" Maxon says catching up to me. "Marlee is having her baby right now," I say. I open the door and Marlee is screaming. I go beside her. Carter is trying to get her to do the breathing exercises. "Hee-hee-hoo-hoo, come on Marlee. Hee-hee-hoo-hoo," Carter says.

"Carter shut up!" She yells. She shouts in pain. "One more push," the doctor says. She shouts and crying fills the room. The doctor takes the baby and goes and cleans him off. She hands him to Carter. Marlee is too weak to hold the baby. "Hey there Kile," Carter says bouncing him. His crying fades and calms down.

"Hey America and Maxon. Sorry you had to see that," she says out of breath. "It's okay. Just trying to see what is going to happen when these two come out," I say. Marlee gives me a questioning look. "I guess you haven't found out yet. I'm having twins. One girl, one boy," Maxon says.

"Good luck," Marlee scoffs, "I could barely do one."

"Good luck Maxon. You're emotional support. More like her stress ball. She's like a boa constrictor. My hand was squeezed to death," Carter says. Marlee holds her arms out for Kile. She looks so happy to see her child in her arms. "These are your God parents. That's America and that's Maxon."

I look at him. He has a little fuzz on the top of his head. He's so cute. I wave at him. His little arms move a little. "I'll let you guys have some time with him. Congratulations," I say going out the door. She waves and so does Carter.

"If you're like that, I don't know what I'm going to say," Maxon says. I punch his shoulder. "I'm probably going to be worse. And knowing my luck, it's going to be the worst possible time. Probably during the report or a big party."

"Who knows," Maxon says. We go up to my room. I change into my pajamas and so does Maxon. I lay on the bed, and he flops on the bed next to me. He rubs my stomach. "Love you," he says.

"I love you to the ends of the earth plus more," I say.

"I love you so much I can't explain it. It's too great to say," he says. I get under the covers and fall asleep with Maxon talking to the babies.
