Another Hale

Chapter 28

I was going to go to Derek's with Scott and Stiles but I heard that Cora was at the hospital. I had left the two to deal with the darach while I went to check on my cousin. A huge storm had started. 

When I got to the hospital ,I seen people running out. Some people were getting brought out by stretchers. I went to the floor that I got told that Cora was on. I then started looking for the room number. 

I saw the number and ran to the door.  I looked inside to see Peter. 

"You've got to be kidding me!" I exclaimed to myself. Peter turned to look at me.

"Jess" He said ,looking shocked.

"Jessica." I corrected.

"What?" He asked.

"You can call me Jessica." I told him coldly.

"Listen, Jessica, I wasn't trying to kill you." Peter told me.

"Like hell you weren't. You tried to get Scott to kill all of us in the school! I was with them ,therefore, you did try to kill me." I told him. 

"You weren't suppose to be there. I did get a little crazy while I was an alpha but I wouldn't let anything hurt you ,especially not Scott." He told me.

"So you would of just had him kill all of my friends?" I raised an eyebrow at him. 

"Well... You would've still had Scott. He would've been part of my pack and you could've too." He told me.

"What about Stiles?" 

"Him I would've let Scott killed." 

I growled lowly at him. I wouldn't of let Scott kill his best friend. He would've had to go through me. 

"Look, I'm sorry. Me being an alpha ,wasn't my finest moment ,especially since it ended with my death. Can we put this behind us? Like I said ,I wasn't in my right mind."  

I just ignored him and walked to Cora. "What's going on?" I asked him ,referring to the doctors that were running around the hospital.

"The hospital is getting evacuated because of the storm." He told me.

"I seen some ambulances outside. They were taking other patients out. Why haven't they taken her yet?" 

"I don't know." It was quiet until he spoke up again. "Are you doing okay? With almost dying and everything?" 

"I'm doing just fine." 

"That's good... Come on, Jess, talk to me. You don't talk to me anymore ,in fact lately you've been avoiding me." 

"I'm sorry. I must have not have seen you trying to kill me and my friends as you wanting to try to mend our bond." I said sarcastically. 

"Jess, I'm sorry. You can't hate me forever. I am your father after all." He told me. 

"You want me to forgive you?" He nodded. "Then tell me everything I want to know of what happened last year and I'll consider it ,no guarantees though."

"What do you want to know?" 

"You killed Laura right?" 

"Yes." 

"Was it an accident like you said?" 

"Yes, I couldn't control myself."

"Tell me the truth." 

"Okay, you want the actual truth?" I nodded. "Then here it is. I used the spiral on a deer to draw Laura back to Beacon Hills. Then I killed her so I could become alpha."
