Same day
Elijah sat on the couch, legs spread with his hands in his pants, watching the news and conversating with Micheal over the phone."Micheal, I want to see Amiyah." Elijah stated firmly.
"Well, you shouldn't have kicked me and Amiyah out of our apartment, Elijah." Micheal sassed.
"Micheal, I'm sorry. I acted out of hand and did some terrible things, I can admit that, but, despite what I did and how you feel about me right now, I still have the right to see my daughter." Elijah said sincerely.
"Well, you can't see her now. Me and Dana are taking her to this appointment Dana arranged for me." Micheal informed.
"What appointment and who's Dana?" Elijah inquired.
"Don't worry about it, Elijah. I'll call you when we finish." Micheal dismissed.
"Micheal, what's going on? Why can't I go with you? Are you in a relationship with this Dana person?" Elijah questioned.
"Elijah, it's nothing. Just let me call you back." Micheal sighed.
"No, Micheal, I'm not letting you off that easy. You need to tell me why you need a doctor's appointment and what's wrong with you. You know that I care about you too much to let something happen to you. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you forever." Elijah rambled.
"Look, Elijah, if let you come, will you shut the hell up?" Micheal proposed.
"It's a deal." Elijah grinned.
"Good, cause Lord knows you can talk for hours." Micheal sighed in relief.
"Anyway, what time are you and 'Dana' leaving?" Elijah asked, rolling his eyes.
"In, like, thirty minutes. I still gotta get dressed and stuff." Micheal replied.
"Okay. Micheal, don't get mad at me, but I have one more question." Elijah rushed out.
"Elijah, you promised." Micheal whined slightly.
"I know but just one more question then I'll leave you alone." Elijah begged.
"Okay, what is it?" Micheal sighed.
"Are you staying with them, this 'Dana' person?" Elijah asked.
"Yes." Micheal answered.
"Are you dating them?" Elijah questioned.
"That was your last question, Elijah." Micheal reminded.
"But-" Elijah started.
"There are no buts, Elijah. Just meet us at the doctor's office on eighth." Micheal stated before he hurriedly hung up the phone.
Elijah sighed before he got up from the couch, and headed upstairs to his room. He got out some clothes from his dresser, went across the hall to the bathroom, and started his shower.
Wild thoughts savaged Elijah's brain as hot water hit his back. His mind searched for anything it could to feed it's hunger, like a starved lion that hasn't had prey in weeks, except this hunger was one that concerned a thirst for knowledge rather than a bloodlust for prey.
