10 Months later

Micheal knocked on Elijah's house door and waited for him to answer with a lively Amiyah perched on his hip.

Elijah opened the door seconds later shirtless, absentmindly scratching his head.

"Dada! Dada!" Amiyah squealed, reaching for Elijah.

"Hey, baby girl. You excited to see me?" Elijah cooed, taking the baby out of Micheal's arms and into his own.

"You know her birthday's tomorrow. My princess is finally going to be two." Micheal smiled, pinching Amiyah's cheeks.

Amiyah giggled in response.

"I know, it seems like just yesterday you sprung her up on me." Elijah laughed.

"Whatever, Elijah." Micheal replied, rolling his eyes playfully.

"I'm serious. That shit was a total surprise, but I'm glad I have a daughter and I'm glad she's your mother." Elijah admitted.

"Stop your making me blush." Micheal smiled, covering his face.

"I love when that red tint covers your face when you blush and smile. It makes you seem like an eternal being." Elijah said passionately, using one of his hands to move Micheal's hands from his face while the other held Amiyah securely on his hip.

"Elijah, stop." Micheal whined.

"Alright, I'll stop but that don't mean you stop smiling though. I don't never want to see you stop smiling." Elijah said as he held Micheal's chin, making Micheal look him in the eyes.

"As long as I have my beautiful baby girls, that won't be a problem." Micheal assured.

Elijah removed his hand from Micheal's face and began to rub the back of his neck nervously.

"So how's the baby?" Elijah inquired.

"She's doing good. She's so adorable and I think Miya really enjoys being a big sister." Micheal spoke happily.

"So everything's alright with you and Dana?" Elijah asked.

"Yeah, we're working on co-parenting. We just want Mya to have both of her parents in her life." Micheal informed.

"I'm glad you two are getting along. The children deserve positivity in their lives." Elijah nodded.

"Yeah, but I have to go so here's Miya's diaper bag. I also wanted to invite you to Amiyah's birthday party." Micheal said as he handed Amiyah's bag to Elijah.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." Elijah stated.

"That's good to hear. Well, I'll see you later, Elijah." Micheal said before he started walking towards his car.

"Wait!" Elijah called out.

"What?" Micheal replied.

"Smile for me." Elijah grinned.

Micheal laughed before complying and smiling one of his most beautiful smiles.

"You're beautiful when you smile, you know that?" Elijah complimented.

"Goodbye, Elijah." Micheal chuckled, making his way back to his car.

"Bye. I love you, Mike." Elijah waved.

Micheal just laughed and got in his car. He sat there for a minute, patiently watching Elijah go into his house. Once Micheal knew he was safe, he started the car.
