Next day

Dana and Micheal laid on the couch in the living room watching television. Dana laid in between Micheal's legs as Micheal absentmindly combed his fingers threw Dana's hair.

"Micheal?" Dana inquired.

"Yeah?" Micheal replied.

"Now that we know your pregnant, I want to make sure our child has a secure family." Dana stated.

"Dana, what are you talking about?" Micheal questioned, sitting up.

Dana pulled Micheal into his lap and looked deeply into Micheal's eyes.

"Micheal, I want you to marry me." Dana admitted.

"What?" Micheal uttered in shock.

"Will you marry me, Micheal?" Dana repeated, gently caressing Micheal hips.

"Dana, I-I don't know what to say." Micheal stuttered.

"Say yes, please." Dana pleaded.

"Dana, I don't know if I'm ready for this. I need sometime to think." Micheal spoke before he got up from the couch and rushed upstairs.

He ran into the guest room and quickly picked up his phone.

"Lijah." Micheal spoke into the phone.

"What do you want, Micheal?" Elijah sighed.

"Chres took Royal to his check up and I need someone to talk to." Micheal explained.

"Why can't you talk to your new baby daddy?" Elijah scoffed.

"Because he's part of the problem. Could you just listen to me for a second, Elijah, please?" Micheal begged.

"Go head." Elijah replied.

"He asked me to marry him." Micheal whispered.

"Congratulations." Elijah mumbled.

"I didn't say yes." Micheal clarified.

"Oh. Why? I thought you loved him." Elijah questioned with concern.

"I do but I also love you and-" Micheal began.

"Wait, you still love me?" Elijah inquired.

"I couldn't stop if tried, Elijah. I just-" Micheal started.

"You just what?" Elijah asked.

"I don't know if I want to try giving my heart to you again or if I want to try giving it to someone else." Micheal confessed.

Micheal looked up at the door and saw Dana leaning against the doorway, causing Micheal to panic.

"Elijah, I'll talk to you later." Micheal hurried out before he hung up the phone.

"Hi, Dana. How much did you hear?" Micheal said nervously.

"Enough to know that you still love him. Is that why you didn't say yes?" Dana asked.

"No, Dana. It's not like that." Micheal denied.

"What is it like then, Micheal? You can't love the both of us. It's either me or him." Dana shouted.

"You can't make me choose Dana. Loving two emotionally unstable assholes is already hard enough for me." Micheal agrued.

"Well until you figure it out, I don't want no part of you unless it's about my child." Dana said before he stormed out of the room.

Micheal sighed before plopping down on the bed that sat in the middle of the room.

"Hey, Mike. Why are you in here? Where's Dana?" Chresanto asked when he entered the room with Royal in his arms.

"Hey, Chres. How was the check up?" Micheal replied, sitting up in the bed.

"Good, but what's wrong with you? You seem unfocused." Chresanto commented as he took a seat next to Micheal.

"Dana asked me to marry him." Micheal sighed.

"That's good news, right?" Chresanto questioned.

"No, I don't love him like I love Elijah, Chres, and it wouldn't be right to marry him knowing that I'm still love with someone else." Micheal admitted.

"Well, what are you going to do?" Chresanto inquired.

"We have to leave before he comes back." Micheal stated.

"What? Why?" Chresanto stammered.

"Because he'll be pissed at me once I tell me I don't want to marry him." Micheal explained.

"Where are we gon go?" Chresanto questioned.

"My sister found a apartment for me. She said all I had to do was give a deposit to the land lord and the place was mine." Micheal answered.

"How long have you known this?" Chresanto asked.

"For about two weeks." Micheal muttered.

"And why didn't you tell anybody?" Chresanto stressed.

"I didn't want to upset Dana, but, now that he's already mad at me, it doesn't matter. So hurry up and pack up you and Royal's things and I'll meet you at the car." Micheal rushed out before getting up and leaving the room.

He went into the room he and Dana slept in and quickly packed a bag full of his and Amiyah's clothes. He grabbed his keys, Amiyah, and her diaper bag before bounding down the steps and outside to his car, where Chresanto stood holding Royal and the rest of his belongings.

Micheal unlocked the doors and after he Chresanto made sure the babies were secure in their car seats, they made their way to their new home.
