chapter 8

I woke up with my face buried in Augusts' shoulder. The TV was off and it was freezing cold in his room. So I got even closer, if that was even possible. August squeezed my butt and opened his eyes.

"Good morning beautiful, August said while moving hair out of my face.

"Good morning"

I said while getting out of bed.

"where are you going"

he said as he sat up.

"to get dressed, making videos isn't my only job."

I said pulling Augusts' shirt off my head and went into the shower.

after I got out I walked into the closest and realized I wasn't at home.

I put on Augusts' robe and went back to the room

"August I need clothes, take me to my house please"

august got up, put on his shades, jacket, and pants then threw me a pair of his sweat pants.

"no, and that's my last time telling you. now put those on we're going shopping"

"ok, I'll meet you at the car"

I said as I put on Augusts' sweat pants and shirt while grabbed my wallet.

we got in the car and headed for dolphin mall.

"so babe, what's your other job?" August asked

"Well I do videos and I model "

I said while counting how much money I had on me

August continued driving but began looking aggravated.

"why are you doing that?"

I looked confused

"what are you talking about?"

"counting your money, like I'd actually let you pay for anything"

August said pulling into the malls parking lot. He got out of the car and opened the door for me.

"but I got my own money"

I Said as we entered the mall. but August didn't even bother commenting, what he says goes usually.

we walk into the mall and women are looking, pointing, and taking pictures. considering I'm wearing Augusts' sweats I look ridiculous and he looks.... well like August Alsina.

we walk into Claire's and I walk over to the earrings. I find a pair if silver hoops with gold rings around it. the price for them were $150, that was expensive but I wanted them.

august was signing autographs so I quickly ran to the clerk and shoved my credit card into her hand so she could ring up the earrings. I guess the cash register was too loud because when I grabbed the receipt and turned around August was behind me.

"didn't I tell you I got it?"

august said frowning as he towered over me.

"but I don't like when men spend money on me, I have my own money"

I said putting my hands on my hips.

"well I like to provide"

august grabbed my credit card out of my hand, gave it to the clerk and told her to cut it. and she did.

"AUGUST THAT WAS THE ONLY CARD I HAD WITH ME!"

I yelled while I punched him in the chest.

he didn't even flinch, he just smiled and grabbed my hand as we walked into a store I'm not familiar with. it had shoes everywhere and a clothes section.

"stay right here"

August said as he walked to the worker,shook his hand,and said a few things. then he signaled me over.

"babe this is aldonio but we call him also. he will be helpin' you find the perfect pair of shoes for your shoot today."

at that point August stepped back and let aldo talk.

"Mami I will help you find the right heels to make you perfecto.

aldo grabbed my hand and lead me to the shoes. there were alot to choose from but the ones that caught my attention, Christian Louboutin silver glitter pumps. they looked like they fell from a glittery diamond heaven and right into my hands. aldo handed them to me I checked the price, $889 it disappointed me because I didn't want August to pay almost a thousand dollars for some shoes. I was about to give it back but August stopped me.

"what are you doing?"

"I don't really like them"

I said looking down

"don't lie to me when two minutes ago your eyes grew the size of oranges when you saw them"

I handed the shoes to August and he looked at the tag.

"girl you trippin' over $889, stop acting childish and get the shoes"

"Oh I'm being childish"

I said giving aldo the shoes to ring up

"let's GO then"

I grabbed August and the shoes and we walked into the other part of the store.

I tried on tons of clothes and surprisingly August did too. we brought matching Jordan's and jackets. it felt good being spoiled a little.

we got into the car and Aug drove to McDonald's, brought lunch, and drove us back home. I mean to his house. I got all the clothes and put them into his closet then I started getting dressed. I wore a red strapless Ana sui ruffled short in the front, long in the back dress, with the silver glittery beautiful louboutins. I put my hair in a messy bun (those are kinda my thing). then I put on red lipstick, it wasn't too bright red because my skin is Brown so I wouldn't look right with bright red. I like to emphasize my hazel eye color so I put on mascara to make my eyes stand out. then I headed to August who was playing C.O.D ghost. he insisted on driving me but I told him lani was coming to take me to the shoot. which was half true, I was going to the shoot, just to my house first.
