Chapter 29

After Breakfast, i got back in bed because well I really didn't have anything to do today. August started getting dressed and I was curious where he might be going.

"hey NIGGA where ya goin'?"

I yelled with a smirk on my face

"who are you talkin' to like that?"

august said raising an eyebrow

"well you're here and I'm here so..."

I rolled my eyes and august jumped on me and pinned me to the bed, then bit my neck. I screamed because it was ticklish and painful at the same time.

"Say sorry"

he demanded

"no!!"

I yelled

he bit my neck again

"sorry! SORRY! SORRY!"

I yelled trying to get him off of me, when he was off he fixed his clothes and answered my question.

"I'm goin' to handle some business"

then he got his keys, kissed me and left so I called my girls to see if they wanted to chill.

Me, Kayla, Mercedes,Lani, and Coco were all at Krispy kreme donut shop.

Me: "so what are y'all up to today?"

Kayla: "actually we are going out tonight"

Me:"Yass, I need to get out"

Kayla: "um... Alisha you're not invited."

I looked at her with one eyebrow raised.

"Excuse Me?"

Kayla left eye started twitching, a reaction she has when she's lying.

"we just have some important rehearsal business for a um.. fashion show".

"yeah OK"

I got out of my seat, walked out the shop and drove, just drove around.

after about an hour I parked at the studio, I got my phone and called my mom.

Me:"hello?"

Mom: "hey darling"

Me: "have any plans for today?"

Mom:"well, Actually honey today I have a meeting with the corporate today"

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"okay, I'll let you go then love you. bye."

Then, I hung up the phone and drove back home.

when I walked in I could tell august must have came back home and left again because his cologne sent was too fresh in the house.

I went up to the room and saw a box with a note on the bed, I opened the note first.

It read:

"love, I want you to put this on and come down to casa tua near Miami Beach @8:00 I love you"

I opened the box and inside was a Alexander McQueen LACE SPINE BIRD JACQUARD KNIT PENCIL DRESS and Christian Louboutin Black Suede Strass Decorapumps.

I wonder what's the occasion?

I looked at the time and it said 7:20 I only had 40 minutes to get ready!
