Chapter 23

when august and I got back in the car after hugging my mom and waving goodbye, I pulled out the driveway. we both erupted into laughter.

"really Aug? why the hell would you reach for that pepper knowing damn well I wouldn't call you daddy in front of my parents"

I said while holding in my giggles.

"it was an accident ma, but did you see ya pops face"

august started frowning while trying to make his frown lines as deep as my dads.

"it looked like he ate a lemon, lime, and five war heads. you did daddy wrong"

I was laughing so hard I almost ran a red light.

august jumped and held on to the seatbelt.

"see now this why I don't let you drive"

august said while telling me to pullover

but I continued to drive, FASTER.

When we got home after we handled some business, august went to get something to snack on and in went straight to the bathroom. I stripped and put on a robe, then I filled the hottub with water and bubbles. I turned on the red light and played ring the alarm quietly in the background.

august walked into the bathroom with his phone in his hand. he put it down when he looked at me. after that I dropped my robe and slowly got in the hot tub, looking directly at august.

august got undressed and got in with me. I sat across from him and laid back. I put the bubbles all across my body,

then I got a hand full of bubbles and blew them at august, he splashed the water at me.

"heey!"

I whined while wiping my face

"you started it!"

august said splashing me again

" I don't like you!"

I jumped on him and bit his neck.

"OW DAMN!!!!"

august grabbed his neck and looked at his hand just in case it was bleeding

I laughed and was about to kiss him but his phone started ringing. august was so quick to jump out of the tub. that I quickly grabbed it out of his hand and answered it. while walking back to the tub and getting in.

me: "hello?"

Nicki: "hi, who is this?"

august got back in the tub and his face in the bubbles.

me: "I'm the one august comes home to every night, what's your purpose for calling?"

Nicki: "well I was going to tell august the song is ready and he can come pick it up at my place tonight."

in my head I'm thinking why does she want my man to come over at 8:00pm but I'm not giving no chances.

me: "WE will be there soon."

Nicki: "we?"

I hung up after that because I don't need to explain why I'm coming with my man, to her house.

august stuck his head out of the water.

"so you're giving out your number now?"

I said scowling at him.

"no ma it ain't even like that, you know we were making a remix to no love."

august tried to defend himself.

"but if u didn't answer you would have just left."

I got even more angry

"yes I would have"

he mumbled

"oh so you're fuckin' her!!!"

i yelled

"hell nah I ain't fuckin' that girl"

august tried touch me but I got out and grabbed a towel

"well it sure as hell seems like it, considering y'all took a picture in front of a hotel room a few days back, and now she has your number. the fact she didn't even know about me is the icing on the mother fuckin' cake!!"

I grabbed some boy shorts and a bra, then my testimony tank top with some shorts. I could hear august behind me. he grabbed me and made me face him.

"hey look this jealousy is not called forbid I wanted to fuck her I would have and trust me I had the chance, plenty of times but I want you and only you. look"

he showed me him deleting her number.

"she's gone okay no more, finito, all gone bye bye"

he said with a smirk

then he hugged me

"I love you so much baby. you have no idea how much I love you, don't get jealous over nothing I haven't given you any reason to think any less of me"
