August jumped off of me and awkwardly stood there.

"hey ma, didn't know you were coming today."

august Stuttered

"who's that?" Kay Kay asked pointing to me.

august scratched his head and said

"this is my girlfriend Alisha, um Alisha meet Kay Kay"

I said hi and she ignored me

" my mommy said she'd call you, because i wanted to come over, chay and mya stayed home."

august walked over to hug her and I quickly grabbed my oversized shirt out my bag.

"dang baby I wish your mom would have called earlier, I have to go to the studio in a minute."

august said while putting Kay Kay on his lap.

"yeah her mama should have called, messing up my moment and shit"

I mumbled under my breath

"bae what was that?"

august asked

"oh nothing"

I said while grabbing the remote and slouching on the couch.

"babe you know you have to watch kayden while I'm in the studio right?"

august said with pleading eyes

"yeah sure, we can go get ice cream and maybe a Mani/pedi"

I said trying to sound excited but not corny

"no thanks I'll go to my room"

she said before walking up stairs

"I'm sorry babe but she-"

i cut august off

"Its okay, its okay she's going to her room leave her be"

august gave me a weird look, got

his keys, gave me a kiss, and left for the studio. as soon as august left I started channel surfing until I found a show to watch. I turned on

Hit the floor and got a soda out the fridge.

"ahsha, German doesn't need to know you're dating Derek, that's just proving you're trifling. but you know what they say 'when a rich nigga wants you'"

I continued watching TV until I felt like I was being watched. I turned around and Kay Kay was behind me.

"hello"

I said

she just stood there

"hello?"

I repeated

she still stood there for a little longer and then she spoke.

"are you trying to take my uncle away from me?"

her question kind of shocked me and It took me a while to answer.

"hello?"

Kay Kay said

"um.. no, I'd never take your uncle away why'd you think that?"

I said in response

"because he didn't come to our house in a whole month, and grandma told mama he has found the one. whatever that means"

Kay Kay whispered looking down

"she did?"

I said while blushing

"well love I'd never do that, I know you love your uncle and he loves you too. Is that why you have this little attitude with me."

she looked down knowing she was guilty of having an attitude, but I had one too so I forgave her.

"how about this"

I got up and stood next to her. we can go out and do something fun, so you can get to know me."

she smile

"can we still get ice cream?"

once i got dressed and Kayden put her shoes back on we got in August's Ashton martin and drove to whip n' dip ice cream. I got a simple bowl of cookies and cream ice cream and I helped Kay Kay carry her cookie and cream, double fudge, chocolate chip, sprinkle,m&ms', cherry, and hot fudge syrup sundae.

she sat down and without hesitation began eating the ice cream.

"soo, what's your favorite color?"

Kay Kay said with a mouth full of ice cream.

"pink"

I said

she made a squealing noise and said

"I like pink too!"

the questions after that were basically her giving me q&a and agreeing.

"what's your favorite animal?"

"monkeys"

"me TOO!"

"favorite food?"

"pizza"

"me too!"

After we left from whip n' dip we drove home, I got Kay Kay in the tub and I took a quick shower. when I got out she was wearing unicorn pajamas and her hair was a mess. I put on one of Augusts' white shirts and some boy shorts and went in her room. we sat on her bed and I combed her hair gently. when I was able to get the comb through her hair without problems I got two rubber bands and gave her two high ponytails. she looked so cute, when I got up to leave she got up and asked me to stay until august came so I got in the covers with her. we talked about so much random stuff, we giggled and made weird faces, and I painted her nails. when we were jumping on the bed having a mini dance party august came in the room with a weird look on his face.

"um.... hey Ladies"

I got embarrassed automatically and got off the bed.

"hey babe, how was the session"

august still confused said

"oh that was good but whats up"

Kay Kay jumped off the bed into my arms

"me and Alisha went to get ice cream AND I got my hair and nails done."

she showed august her nails

"yeah August, we talked and we're good now."

I said

"well that's great to hear, but its 10 I think some people need sleep"

august said with a smile

"NOT US!"

kayden and I said at the same time.

"yes both of you"

august took kay Kay and put her in the bed, I tucked her in.

Kay Kay looked at us and said

"good night uncle, um..Alisha?"

august and I looked up

"yes?"

"can I call you auntie?"

Kay Kay asked

august and I was surprised but I said eagerly

"yes you can"

august kissed Kay Kay and we walked out of the room. we got into our room and I felt boastful.

"I'm an auntie"

august smiled

"yes you are"

we got in the bed and august spooned me. then kissed my neck.

"goodnight love, sweet dreams"
