I had just woken up from a heavy sleep, when my aunt pulled into the driveway. We now live in California. My aunt said she wanted me to start a news life and be in a place full of no worries. Well I can't wait to see how long that will last.
My mom died two years ago in a car accident. She was my everything. So now, I live with my aunt, her younger sister, Lia. Before I lived with my friend Kyle in Ohio. Lia looked so much like my mom, but with golden eyes instead of green. She had auburn brown hair like me. The difference between us was our height I was much taller than she was. I stood around 5 foot 8, while she stood at 5 foot 4.
When we walked inside the house, my mouth fell open. "Wow. Ahah, this is nice." I said smiling. The house was huge. It was by far one of the most amazing houses I've ever seen.
"You like?" Lia asked. "Yeah, it's beautiful." I exclaimed. "Check it out upstairs. Your room is the first door to your right." she said with a smile. I walked up the stairs, and looked at my surroundings. I could get used to this.
I went into my room to see a guy around my age, laying on my bed with his hands behind his head. He was very good looking. He had curly black hair and olive tanned skin. I couldn't tell what color his eyes were since they were closed. He also dressed in a black shirt that was rolled up from the sleeves and dark blue jeans.
But the thing is, what was he doing in my room? "Um excuse me?" I said. His eyes opened and turned towards me. They were brown. It made him look quite sexy.
"Can I help you?" I said again. He got up and stood a few feet from me. "Wait. You can see me?" he asked shocked. "Uh, well I do have the ability to see , so yes I can see you." I raised my eyebrows and stared at him. He started laughing, it seemed like it was out of happiness.
"Oh my god. You can see me!" he exclaimed, running his fingers through his hair. His voice was so raspy and deep. "Yay. We established that already. Now can you please tell me who you are and why you're in my bedroom?" I said annoyed.
"I'm Evan, Evan Miller and well you see, I'm a ghost." he said, so simple. I chuckled and said "That's funny. I'm Mila." "No, really I can prove it to you. Grab that pillow and throw it at me." he said. I raised one my of my eyebrows and stared at him. "Um, okay." I said.
I grabbed the pillow off of my bed and threw it at him. My green eyes widened when I saw that the pillow went right through his body. "Oh my god." I covered my mouth with one of my hands. "You're a fucking ghost." I said shocked. "That's what I said." he said he crossed his arms and looked at me. "What the actual fuck," I ran my fingers through my hair and sat on my bed. "How is this possible?" "I don't know. You're the one that can see me." he said leaning against the wall.
"Um, I'm going downstairs." I said. I ran down the stairs into the kitchen, where I found my aunt cooking a meal. "Hey love, you alright? she asked while chopping some peppers. "Oh, I'm just peachy." I lied.
Peachy my ass.
