Evan's P.O.V
You know when I said everytime I close my eyes I'm in some place else? Well, this very moment I was walking on an down a road. I was surrounded by people like me.
Ghosts.
I really didn't know what to think. I wasn't sure if this was some strange dream that felt like forever.
People pasts me, without a care in the world. I mean, I wouldn't blame them. They're free.
I wandered my eyes towards a auburn haired middle aged women. She stood by a tree with her hand behind her back. It was almost as if she looked like...
No, it couldn't be. Could it?
Before I could proccess what happened, my feet started to move. As I reached near her, I stretched my hand out to tap her on the shoulder but decided to just clear my throat instead. She whipped her head around and looked at me with a soft smile.
"Um..Hi. I'm Evan, I just came over here to ask you a question. Do you happen to know who Mila Woods is?" I swallowed.
Her eyes grew wide and looked as if all of the blood drained from her face. I'm guessing that was a yes.
"Y-you know my daughter. "
"Yes, I do."
"Oh please, tell me, how is she?"
"She's strong."
"Of course she is." she said woth a teary smile.
"You tell her that I love her okay? Let her know that I want her to stay strong. Not just for me but for herself. " she reached out and grabbed my hand.
I squeezed her hand lightly and said reassuringly "Don't worry, I will."

Mila's P.O.V
I was sitting at the same bench where I met Izzy. I was strumming my guitar with my eyes closed, blocking out everything around me. That's when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I whipped my head to the side to see Nick smiling down at me. "Well isn't it lovely to see you here. May I sit?" he asked.
"Sure." I continued strumming and felt a pair eyes burning into the side of my head. "You know you're really going to have to stop this whole staring thing." I said grinning.
"Well, I asked you if you could sing me a song before. And well, you're holding a guitar soo.."
"Soo.."
"Will you please sing me a song?"
"Alright." I sighed.
I sat up straight but with my back hunched slightly. I cleared my throat and then looked up and glanced at Nick. I shook my head and smiled. I started to sing Youth by Daughter.
"Shadows settled on the place, that you left. Our minds are troubled by the emptiness. Destroyed the middle, its a waste of time. From the perfect start to the finish line. And if you're still breathing you're the lucky one. Cause most of us are heaving through corrupted lungs. Setting fire to our insides for fun. Collecting names from the lovers that went wrong.."
I contiued singing until the end of the song and bit my lip. I looked up slowly and pressed my lips into a thin line.
"So, how was that?" I asked.
"Amazing. So much talent that you hold Mila." he smiled.
"Thank you." I ran my fingers through my hair.
"No, thank you. I'm glad i asked you to sing. Mila, i think when you sing you're in your own world. And when you're in that place, This world that we actually see, doesn't exist." he says.
"Most definitley accurate." I chuckle.
"Mila, how much fun have you had since you've came here?" he asks.
My mouth hung open. "Well..um"
"I had a feeling. You and I are going to a party tonight." he leaned back on the bench and crossed his arms.
I groaned incredibly loud and look at him to see him smiling at me. "Why are you smiling?"
"Because I'm enjoying seeing you get irritated by my decisions." he answers.
"Why should I go with you?"
"Mila because you need to have some fun at a certain point of time. You and I are living in a beautiful state, filled with beautiful things, and you should be a able to see them." he looked at me searching my eyes.
Nick did have a point.
"Why do I have friends who say such wise things?"
"Oh so we're friends now?" he smirked.
"Yeah we are." I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Well I like the sound of that."
