"Evan, what the hell do you think you're doing?" I said quietly, through gritted teeth. "I'm just stopping by." he smirked and moved me so he can come inside.
My eyes never left his face. I was pissed. For one, I had to go on a date with Nick, and two Evan literally became visible to do God knows what.
"And you are?" Evan asked Nick. "I'm Nick. I'm...a friend of Mila's." he answered. Evan looked him up and down like he sensed a strange vibe coming from him. "Okay Evan, thanks for dropping by." I said, trying to push him out the front door. "Oh, I'm not leaving yet. Let's go sit down and have some coffee." he winked at me.
I clenched my jaw. He was getting on my last nerves. He pushed me lightly from my lower back, into one of the living rooms. My aunt, was setting cups of coffee on a tray and placed it on the table.
I grabbed a cup and blew out the hotness of the dark colored beverage. "So Evan, tell me, how well do you know my niece?" my aunt asked. He was sitting next to me and put his arm over my shoulder. He looked towards me and said, "Oh, very well." I crossed my legs and arms and flared my nose.
Oh my god.
"Well I actually have to go. Lia, thank you for the coffee." he kissed her hand. "Mila, I'll see you around?" he asked with a smile. "Maybe." I rolled my eyes and smiled. He leaned over the couch and kissed my cheek. I was now beet red.
It seems like Evan didn't like that,
because now he was fuming. He looked mostly uncomfortable. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. I heard the door close and hear Evan say, "We'll I should probably go as well. It was nice meeting you Lia." he waved goodbye and walked out the door.
I walked up stairs and slammed my bedroom door. I then took of my shoes and ran my fingers through my hair.
Evan opened the door and locked it behind him. I stormed towards him and started yelling. At this point, I really didn't care if Lia heard me or not. I was upset.
"What the hell was that?! Are you insane? You scared him off. I don't understand why you were so rude. You don't even know him, how can you just judge him like that, huh? What were you jealous? Is that what it was, jealousy?" I ran on.
"Okay, so what if I was jealous. So what if I couldn't stand him staring at you like that. So what if I was angry because he kissed you. I don't care, you wanna know why? Because I like you." he stepped towards me, making me step back and hit the wall.
He put his hands on the wall, on the side of my head. "Yeah, I like you. I like you a lot, Mila." he breathed. I was stunned. I was lost of words. I tried to speak but nothing came out.
He put his hands on the back of my neck and held my head in place. His eyes wondered over to my lips and then to my eyes. I closed my eyes slowly, waiting for what will happen next.
Just like that, his lips were on mine.
