I was driving through the city and noticed my favorite cafe, Starbucks. I pulled into the parking lot and parked my car infront of the cafe.
When I walked inside, I smiled remembering that amazing smell of the grinded coffee beans. I went up to the line and ordered iced tea.
I sat down and waited for my order. I looked around and saw people mingling with other. That's when I noticed a guy looking my way.
He had a grin on his face that hid something. I guess he noticed me staring, because he got up and walked towards me indicating he was coming this way.
I looked at my fingers then out the window. I heard a chair move in front of me. I turned my head slowly and looked at him.
He was cute. Not hot like Evan, but very cute. He looked like he was around my age. He had curly brown hair that fell on his face while some stood up. He had blue-green eyes that were very similar to the ocean, but his smile seemed so warm and friendly.
"Can I help you?" I raised my eyebrows and looked at him. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Nick." he said sticking his hand out. I stared at his hand and then heard my order being called out and I stood up and grabbed my tea.
When I turned around I was face to face with Nick. He was also tall."Do you need something?" I asked getting annoyed. "Your name?" he put his hands behind him and tilted his head down at me. "Angelina Jolie" I said walking away.
"Seriously. What's your name?" he said with a smile. "I told you already Angelina." I said taking a sip of my drink. My back pocket buzzed and I took out my phone. I got a text from my aunt saying that she'll be coming home late. I put my phone back in my back pocket.
"Well Angelina has to go." I said. I saluted him and had my hand on the door when I heard him say, "I'll see you around, Mila." I shut my eyes and cursed under my breath.
Shit.
I should've covered my name on my drink. I'm a complete idiot. I hopped into my car and drove off into the city.
Let's see where California will take me.
