AXEL WRIGHT WAS, IN MANY WAYS, LIKE A ROSE. But no, not in the sense that he was beatiful yet 'had thorns' or the fact that he could single-heartedly 'represent passion'. Though those were all true, it was the small, obvious things that made Axel relate to the flower.

Like the blooming process:

To almost everyone, Axel was an open book. He didn't hide his interests, dislikes nor the fact that he can't stay on a broom for a minute without falling off. Being inclusive was a giant part of his personality.

He liked to thank his parents for that, seeing as they were the ones who always told him that it's only a person's personality that matters and that 'honestly is always the best policy'.

That's why to bullies, he was unforgiving; never afraid to send a hex or two their way. But to his loving, fellow peers he was known as 'the smily one'. Friendly to all those who appreciated and returned the boy's kindness.

In reality, there was only one innocent person who Axel physically couldn't open up to. And as much as he'd love to scream out all of his emotions in their face,

Axel would never dare to tell Seamus Finnigan that he loves him.
