Chapter 19

BTS Rap Monster, J-Hope, and Suga- Cypher pt. 2: Triptych

After we call confessed our platonic love for each other, we decided to have a movie marathon. "What kind of movies do you like? Yoongi asked after we decided on our plans. "Well, to be honest, I'm not too picky I just don't like Horror or sappy romance". I said answering honestly. "I really love musicals, cartoons, and action through along with a lot of Tim Burton films".

The boys urged me to give them more information. "Some of my favorite musicals are The Labyrinth, Rocky horror picture show, Mama Mia, the Phantom of the Opera and Sweeny Todd. Some favorite cartoons are Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron, The last unicorn, Happy Feet, The nightmare before Christmas, and the corpse bride. As for action, I like the Fast and Furious's the best. Other Tim Burton films I like are Dark Shadows, Sleepy Hollow, Beatle Juice, his version of Alice in Wonderland along with Alice through the looking glass and Edward Scissorhands".

"I also love Disney movies. I like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and The Little Vampire too". I sighed, "I could go on and on about movies I like but I think I rambled enough. I have to admit that I know almost all of the song lyrics In the Labyrinth and Mama Mia". I finished my rant and waited. Since my list was so long Namjoon translated for the others knowing they would get lost.

"You really aren't too picky on your movies". Jin said finally and I smiled. "Yup and I even like some movies people consider weird like Sweeny Todd, The Labyrinth, and Rocky Horror Picture Show". They all nodded, and I asked them what sounded good. They were actually interested in watching a movie that they haven't seen. "Can we watch the Labyrinth"?

"You get to actually hear me sing that way. I'm not a bad singer but I'm not the greatest. I can carry a tune at least."
They all seemed interested in me singing so we looked on Netflix to watch The Labyrinth. I used my Netflix account to find it and we turned on Korean subtitles. As I said I sung to all of the songs besides Chilly Down, I haven't quite learned it.

I did jam out to Magic Dance. Then sang in my actual voice to Within You and As the World Falls Down. I went from curled up in a ball against the couch arm to laying across some of the boy's laps. When the movie started it was me, Namjoon, Hobi, Jin, and Suga on the couch. (They had one of those sectionals with the two ends like chairs.) The rest either sat on the floor or in a chair.

When I had gotten back from using the restroom Kookie had stolen my spot. He smiled his cute bunny smile at me when I returned. Well, I wasn't going to sit on the floor or in one of the chairs. Namjoon's body heat had been keeping me warm. I get cold easily and I was glad he kept me warm. I saw a pillow grabbed it and approached the boys on the couch.

"Fine you can have my spot but I'm now going to lay on the rest of you, so I can keep warm". I said ignoring any protests. "Joonie was doing a good job doing that too". I added then I laid on the boys, not too worried about their reactions. I just hoped I didn't make Kookie to uncomfortable, but then again, he didn't leave when I told them what I was going to do. I laid on my right side and used their chests to support my back.

Surprisingly I got comfortable pretty quickly, but the boys weren't sure where to rest their arms. "Just lay your arms on me just don't lay them in a bad spot. If you're uncomfortable with touching my body, then you can rest your arms behind each other or your heads". Poor Kookie was in a bad spot since my torso was on him. "Kookie if you want I can place your arms if you're too unsure". I said kindly and he just nodded his head.

I lifted my neck used his left arm as a pillow and laid the other across my neck. Namjoon nervously placed his arms on my torso but when I nodded my okay he seemed to relax. Jin had the other tricky spot. "You can lay an arm on my waist and the other on my thigh. Yoongi just lay yours where ever. It's just my legs."

When the boys got comfortable I started the movie. By the end, the boys seemed to have grown comfortable with their positions or use to it. I looked at them, "Are you guys okay or do you want to move? There is a possibility your laps are numb". They looked at each other and came to a mutual agreement. "Nah we're good, thanks for asking," Namjoon answered for them.

I nodded my head, "Well I'm going to get a drink. Then we can watch another movie if you want?" All seven agreed on another movie and asked me to pick the next one also. When I was in the kitchen I heard them talking. I thought it was cool that I was able to just go get something to drink without feeling awkward or without feeling like I should ask first. Unfamiliar with Korean drinks I just took with the safe choice of water (even though I wasn't a fan of water).

When I came back they were laughing, and the sight filled me with warmth. "Hey, guys, it's almost supper do you want me to cook"? Seven excited yeses answered me. "Umm, we're going to have to run to the store though. I'm going to need stuff for Lasagna. I'm not sure if you have the ingredients for it." I said feeling a like odd asking.

"I'm going to need a few things. Hopefully, you guys have a deep and large cake pan". Jin confirmed they had a big enough pan then I asked who was going to go with me to the store. In the end, it ended up being Jin, Namjoon, and I. They played rock paper and scissors. Jin came automatically since he was the oldest, Namjoon got lucky.

The trip to the store was interesting and I was disguised as well. Namjoon managed to knock over a couple of things and Jin and I picked up. Well mainly Jin, since he still didn't want me doing too much with my hand. Even though he was letting me cook but he said he was going to help me. When I went to pay the boys refused and told me they would pay. When we showed up back at the dorm the others were watching a Korean drama.

Jin and I made ourselves busy in the kitchen. We took off the old bandage to see how my hand was doing. I had stopped bleeding and hurting which was good. I washed my hands and Jin had one of the boys fetch the first aid box again, so he could rewrap it. After it was rewrapped, a glove was put in my hand to protect the new dressing. Teaching Jin how to make Lasagna was really fun.

He got this focused and serious look on his face as he watched me closely. I could tell he was trying to remember every step as I did it. Just in case the dish was a hit with the boys. "Now we through it in the oven for an hour then It should be done"! I said with excitement watching him put the heavy dish into the oven. "I really hope you guys enjoy it," I said to Jin a little worried as we cleaned up our mess.

"I'm sure it will be very good". He comforted me with a hug. "We really like our food." I laughed knowing it was true. Lasagna was one of my favorite pasta dishes, so I was happy I could share it with my friends. I just hoped they liked it, I was going to be a little sad if they didn't. We can't help what we like or dislike though.
