Chapter 43

BTS- Airplane pt. 2

It felt so nice being back in my own clothing. It's such a freeing feeling and I felt more like myself. Sure, scrubs are super comfortable but there's just nothing like being in your own clothes. No longer did I feel like a prisoner but a free man, well woman. I was pumped about going home, seeing the boys and getting my life back on track. I just hoped I still had my job.

I'm not sure if I could get fired for my hospitalization but you never know. I did get doctors not just in case. Not wanting to take any chances. I was curious about how I was getting back home. I did call the boys and leave a message on at least one of their phones. Hobi was the lucky one to get the message and I didn't try Namjoon's.

I had called and spoke to my mom, but she had worked all day. It was around noon when I was informed my ride was waiting for me. Curiosity and excitement bubbled up in my chest. Once I was out of the locked unit I was greeted by quite the sight. Seven disguised men were waiting for me.
Arms laden with balloons, flowers, cute stuffed animals and what I assumed was chocolates.

I heard them squabbling among their selves and laughed quietly into my arms. They were too busy talking among themselves to notice me standing there. Feeling playful and mischievous, I looked over the seven to pick one as my improvised partner in crime. Well if I was being honest with myself I already knew who I was picking. Jungkookie loved to mess with his Hyungs and I knew he would be more than happy to join me. Plus, he didn't get frightened easily, so he was a good choice.

Quietly and carefully I approached the youngest. Easily being able to tell who was who. It also seemed luck was on my side since he was on the outside of the mass of men just watching with amusement. I tugged softly on the back of his sweater and whispered. "Hey, it's me" he tensed slightly but when he recognized my voice he relaxed. "I want to mess with them so disappear with me for a bit let's see how long before they notice".

He nodded ever so slightly, and I tugged his sweater, urging for him to come with me. Slowly I backed away and motioned for Jungkook to come with me. He waited a moment to see if his hyungs where still distracted and joined me shortly after. Safely hidden and far enough from the others to hear them but unable to hear the two of us. Kookie quickly engulfed me in his embrace. His signature bunny smile on his face and eyes filled to the brim with joy.

"I missed you Noona"! He cooed joyfully as we locked ours tightly around each other. "I missed you too, so freaking much, Kookie," I told him with my face pressed to his chest. His familiar scent relaxed me, and I felt content. Feeling a little emotional I tried to distract myself.

I wiggled in his arms, playfully trying to escape. "Noooo, you can't go yet it's too soon," he wined and hugged me tighter. "But Kooooookie!" I wined right back even though I was grinning. "Nope, not aloud, not until I'm done or the Hyung's notice me missing". He told me firmly, but I could hear the teasing tone in his voice.

I was also aware that he really didn't want to let go, but to be honest I didn't want to leave yet myself. It was comforting and something I had missed a lot. All of the members were important to me and part of my family. Jungkook was like a little brother but not at the same time. There was no denying he was cute and well one doesn't think of their sibling as hotties. Not that I would ever cheat on anyone willingly.

So, we stood there silently, embracing and listening to the conversations of our friends/ family. It was a good five minute or so when the Maknae was noticed missing. "Hey where did Jungkookie go and why isn't Breanna here yet?" Tae asked suddenly and the two of us laughed and peaked around the corner. The rest of Bangtan was now on alert and we let the others stew for a moment. Then Jungkook stepped out.

"Hey, what's the commotion"? He asked innocently, and all eyes were on him in an instant and I had hidden again. "There you are Kookie, where did you go? Hobi asked. "Bathroom, Hyung, have you seen Noona"?
"No", Yoongi grumbled unhappily and I almost felt bad for messing with them. But it was their fault they didn't notice when I came out.

Jungkook made a disappointed sound. "That sucks, I'm going to get a drink, maybe she'll be out by then". Then he was next to me again. "Wait with me for a moment then we'll both come out."
I nodded and smirked, "Hyungs look"! Jungkook shouted suddenly and then pulled me out of our hiding spot.

Their reaction was instantaneous, they rushed towards me calling my name. I laughed as 7 sets of arms surrounded my body and hid me from view. Tae and Hobi shouted in my ears and everyone jumped around. We all remained locked together for a good while and all I could do was beam. All of the men told me how much they missed me and how excited they were. My eyes locked with Namjoon's and both of our giddiness faded.

The light in his eyes dulled and my heart dropped. He cleared his throat, "Okay guys, let her go and let's head out. I'm sure we all could use some food". With the mention of food, all arms disappeared. Hearing his voice after so long was like a shock to my system. A wonderful but painful shock.

It was so cute how they all fussed over me. Wanting to hold my hand or wrap their arms around my shoulders and walk together. They all wanted my attention too. I felt like a mother in a way but couldn't be happier. Well, I could be if my so-called boyfriend joined in. After a wild lunch, and man I didn't realize how much I missed the chaos until that moment.

Since everyone was clingy, they dragged into their dorm. Jin fussed about and forced me on the couch. Jimin with the help of Tae took all of my gifts and gathered them into my dorm. Yoongi was being extra soft and had me cuddled into his arms. Hoseok was too hyper to sit and was dancing wildly in the living room while doing Aegyo. Jungkook joined his Hyung dancing and I was laughing my ass off.

Namjoon had disappeared and Jin was moving about in the kitchen. "Hey, can you guys do me a favor? I asked once everyone was gathered. They seemed excited by my words. I was instantly reminded of puppies. I could see their tails wagging like crazy if they had them.

"Sing to me?"
