Chapter 28

J-hope- 1 verse

Namjoon P.O.V

We're going to pursue our adventure date on foot." I told her once we stepped out of the house. She looked at me and smiled, I love her smile. To be honest I was surprised when she asked if she should change. I thought she looked beautiful in the simple outfit. She also looked cute with the mask and cap we bought her.

Her hazel eyes really stood out even without makeup. "To be honest Namjoon," she said suddenly as we walked. "I've never been on a date". She said slowly like she was embarrassed or something. I was surprised by her confession. I thought she had at least been on a few and had at least one or two serious relationships.

"Well, I'm honored to be your first date. I'll make sure you have lots of fun and enjoy it," I promised her, and she beamed. Well on the bright side at least I didn't have to compete with past dates I thought to myself. I was definitely going to give her a first date she won't forget. Suddenly my phone went off, I knew it had to be one of the guys.

It was most likely Jin-Hyung wondering where we went. I quickly text a reply and put my phone back in my pocket.

Normal P.O.V

"Want to play a question game? It's going to be about you." He asked, and I smiled happily he wanted to know more about me. "Sure, I don't mind answering questions". That seemed to make him pretty happy. "What kind of books do you like"?

"I like fantasy, fiction or supernatural the most. I like historical fiction, fanfiction, and some romance books". "What's your favorite color"?
"Purple is my main one but I like all colors. For the longest time, my favorite color was the rainbow". That answer made him laugh.

"Favorite animal"?
"I love horses, wolves, and Dolphins the most, but I like all animals. I'm a big animal person".
"Dog or cat person"?
"Both to be honest".
"Favorite ice cream flavor"?

"I love Ben and Jerry's strawberry cheesecake. It's expensive though, I like other flavors too. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cookie dough, cookies and cream, chocolate chip mint and others".
"What's your favorite food"
"That's easy Chicken Alfredo".

"How old are your sisters"?
"18 and 16".
"What are some of your favorite TV shows"?
"Supernatural, RuPaul's drag race, NCIS, bones, myth busters, and kdramas.
"What else do you like to do other than reading"?
"I love to write. I write poetry and fanfiction, but I want to write my own stories too".

I also like doing art, singing, traveling and going on adventures".
"So you're the creative type than"? I nodded my head, "That little ice cream shop is our first destination." He said pointing to a cute building a little ahead of us. When we got to the door he opened it for me.

"Thank you, cupcake," I said not using his name on purpose. "You're welcome beautiful," he said with a wink. "I am a gentleman after all". He bowed as we entered, and I bowed to. I didn't want to offend anyone. The inside of the building was cute too and had lots of ice cream flavors to choose from.

My eyes widened, "This is like ice cream heaven!" I exclaimed happily, he chuckled. "I thought you would like it here.

"What kind of ice cream do you want"? I thought about it for a moment, "Is there any strawberry cheesecake?" He nodded his head and gave the lady our orders. We found a slightly hidden area to sit. "This is so good..." I said completely in heaven. I really did love ice cream.

I eat the frozen treat all year around. Some people think it's crazy that even when I'm cold I'll eat it. The shook his head and chuckled that is a little crazy breezy." I froze mid spoon full he called me Breezy... I just received another nickname from him. I was really pleased, to be honest.

Misunderstanding my frozen state, he apologized for calling me Breezy and saying he was sorry. I quickly shook my head. "Nooo, Cupcake that's not it. I don't mind you agreeing with others. I was just surprised for calling me Breezy..." He seemed slightly taken back.

"I'm sorry if you don't want me to call you that...." I stopped him by kissing his cheek. "I love it Joon-bug", I said softly and slightly embarrassed. "Joon-bug?" He questioned, and I nodded shyly he gave me a huge smile, dimples and all. "I love it." He said and then gave me a kiss on my cheek in return.

We finished our ice cream and continued on our date/adventure. When we walked we head hands, talked and laughed. Through the day he took me to a movie, a bookstore, a park, to a restaurant and even to an amusement park. When we returned to the house it was late and we had to be quiet. However, an angry Jin was waiting for us. "It's about time you two showed up".

"Do you realize that it's after 11 at night? What do you have to say about this Namjoon"? He finished glaring with his arms crossed. I was in shock how did it go from scolding the two of us to just him? I stayed silent and rocked on my feet. "Well, I took her out for the day on a date".

"I found out it was her first one, so I took her on an adventure. I lost track of time so I'm sorry for being out so long. I would do it again in a heartbeat though Hyung". I was stunned for a couple of reasons. One was because this was all in English. Two was that Namjoon spoke with lots of emotion and it made my heart pound.

Jin sighed, "Fine, you're off the hook, but just this once. "Now be a gentleman and wish her a good night and give her a kiss." With that Jin turned on his heel and went to his room. Joonie coughed uncomfortably in reaction to Jin's parting words. I laughed and turned to him. "You better do what he said, or he might get mad if you don't", I teased.

He looked at me with soft eyes. "Thank you for going on this date with me. "I hope it's something you'll never forget." I looked at him in awe, he was so sweet. "I should be telling you, thank you Namjoon. This meant a lot to m..."

He cut me off with his lips. I stood surprised for a second but quickly melted into the kiss. Not to sound cheesy but I saw fireworks behind my eyelids and my heart fluttered. The kiss was sweet and gentle, it felt right. I wasn't too sure how long the kiss lasted but when we parted, I was breathless. I stared deeply into his beautiful eyes in awe.

"Goodnight Beautiful." He said softly. "Goodnight Namjoon," I said back, and we parted ways for the night. That night I fell asleep with him on my mind and the lingering feel of his kiss.
