WARNING: SUICIDE
Connor grabbed the pills from the cabinet, stuffing them angrily into his hoodie pocket. He stomped out of the bathroom, punching the door and breaking it for good measure.
He ran to his bedroom. He pulled a note from one of his pockets, leaving it on Dianne's bed. Everything was set.
Now he had to get out. He sprinted, practically falling down the stairs, then out of the house. Not bothering to lock the front door, he ran down the street. An hour walk. Then his life would be complete, literally.
The walk wasn't as daunting as he had expected, his footsteps light and springy, his heart going at a steady pace. The ground scrunched underneath his black Converse. Cars sped past him, flicking up small rocks in their wake. One pelted Connor on the arm, but he ignored it and continued walking like nothing happened.
He would end it all today.
No more drugs. No more ruining other's lives. No more living.
The Rainy Hollows looked the way it usually did; clouds, trees and grass. Connor began walking through it, the leaves on the forest floor crunching beneath his feet. The pills seemed to weigh more and more every step he took, further into the forest.
He arrived at the perfect spot. It was a small valley. He trudged down into it, then sat on a rock. He looked at the sky, then pulled out the pills. He tipped the full contents of it into his hands. He cupped his full hand against his lips, then leaned backwards, the pills filling his mouth. He swallowed, coughed, the laid down, staring at the sky.
All I'll see is sky, for forever, He thought as darkness overtook him. There was probably pain, but he couldn't feel it.
He lay there, sprawled out on the ground, body lifeless.
