~Carlos POV~

Ever since last night I've just had this anger inside of me. I don't know where it came from or how it's such a powerful surge but I'm not hating it.

"Move it, losers!" I yell at the kids in front of me. I was walking to class and they were just moving so slow, it drove me crazy. They all looked back at me a bit weirded out, probably because they were used to the nicer side of me. Oh well, I don't care what these preppy kids think of me. "Take a picture, it'll last longer!" I yell again and this time they quickly move and I make my way to Remedial Goodness class.

"Hey, Carlos! I was working on this strategy to get Ben to ask you to the Cor-"

"Oh my god could you shut up for one second about this stupid plan," I say, interrupting Mals newest Idea to get the wand. "I don't need his permission to stand next to him, nor am I gonna ask for it. I'm going to tell him that I'm standing next to him and that's that." I say coldly towards Mal. Okay, woah. Why am I acting coldly to my friends? I get if it's towards the Auradon kids, but why them? It's like I couldn't control my anger.

"Fine, and you better watch what you say to me next time if you weren't my friend you would've been torn to shreds by now." She spat back and I just glare at her. I take my usual seat next to Jay and he looks at me weirdly and I roll my eyes?

"What?" I ask coldly and it takes him aback but he gets himself together before continuing to speak.

"I just wanted to know if you were okay? I mean after we left the girl's room last night you didn't say a word, then I wake up this morning and you're already gone." He says, concern evident in his voice. I was about to assure him that I was okay but then I got really angry, he forced me out of the closet and didn't even talk to me about it first!

"Oh! You want to know if I'm okay?" I say with a high level of sarcasm and bitterness in my voice and he just nods. "Really? I'm surprised because you didn't feel like talking when you ambushed me and told Evie and Mal about the folded piece of paper! You didn't even give me a warning about it! The only way I was able to take control of the situation was to only confirm what you already had said! Not only did you force me out of the closet, you could've possibly ruined two amazing life friendships. But luckily Mal and I are okay, so you only ruined 1... ours. So to answer your question, Jay, I'm not doing okay." I yell loudly. Fairy God Mother had stopped teaching while Mal and Evie stared at us shocked. I had never yelled at any of them before and they were never on the receiving end on any of my hate. So to see me hold myself back from attacking Jay must have been a shock for them.

"I'm outta here," I say while gathering my things and rolling my eyes. I quickly storm out of the room. I didn't know where I was going but I just knew I needed to get away from them for a while and calm down, which seems hard for me ever since last night. I guess I didn't see where I was going because the next thing I know I bump into another solid object, taking the both of us down.

"Hey, watch where you-" I stop instantly when I look into the hazel-green eyes of this stranger and I quickly get up. "Ben, oh my goodness I'm so sorry!" I help him up and he only chuckles.

"It's okay, it's funny actually I was just about to come get you from class to ask you something." He says with a cute smile on his face and I immediately feel my heart beat quickening. Wait, no! I can't feel like this anymore! It's getting in the way.

"Really? What did you want to ask me?" I ask flirtatiously and he slightly blushes.

"Uhm well I was won- wait, why aren't you in class?" He asks curiously and I quickly think of a lie.
