I finally took off that stupid mask. Why would I possibly know him anyway. I needed to check if he had fever.
It must be the rain that got him sick.
WHAT THE HELL!
"YOU?!"
{ ALIZEH'S POV }
What the actual fu-!
"You are Amir??"
"Yes, I am Amir... Amir Mirza. The guy you bumped into the other day, the guy who dropped your drink, the guy who ruined your birthday dress and the guy who kidnapped-"
"So why did you not kill me?", I paused as I could feel his cologne hit my nostrils, "You are some really rich guy, who likes to show off, who is arrogant, who doesn't care about others... Then, why did you keep me alive when you were bloody sure you would kill me?"
Out of all the people on planet Earth, Amir had to be him. Someone, I would have never expected to be Amir, Amir Mirza.
"I have never been more surprised", I thought I mentally whispered whlist I said it out loud.
"Me neither", he replied.
What did he mean?
{ AMIR'S POV }
"You are Amir??"
Yes, I am Amir. Alizeh, there was a reason why I wore a mask.
"Yes, I am Amir... Amir Mirza", I paused as I saw her raise an eyebrows, anger filled her eyes. Swallowing down my dry throat I continued, "The guy you bumped into the other day, the guy who dropped your drink, the guy who ruined your birthday dress and the guy who kidnapped-", I got cut off by Alizeh.
She has never looked this scary, she looked like she wanted to grab a stick and beat the shit out of me.
She grabbed my shoulders and pulled me up. I knew it, she will k-kill me now.
She pulled me closer, as her eyes turned slightly red. Our noses were less than an inch apart. She was intimidating me.
"So why did you not kill me?"
I don't know!
"You are some really rich guy, who likes to show off, who is arrogant, who doesn't care about others... Then, why did you keep me alive when you were bloody sure you would kill me?"
Because I don't want to. Goddammit! I fucking care for you. I see something special in you, feel something different for you.
I never answered her question.
"I have never been more surprised", she said as she put her hands on my forehead probably checking for fever.
She moved backwards as she realized she was a bit too close to me. She took her hands off my shoulders as I laid back down on the bed again.
Why was she still looking after me?
"Me neither ", I subconsciously said.
She surprised me more, why was she still caring for me?
"Okay, I don't even know what to say but for now you are sick. You have high, very high fever", she said as looked into my eyes , "It happened because of the rain, it got you sick. You need to take some rest. Sleep"
I have never seen someone take care of their kidnapper. Someone, she should hate. Her eyes, had a much deeper meaning to them. Something, that is innocent yet hard to understand.
Alizeh broke the eye contact as she started walking away.
I didn't even realize when my hand moved automatically and held hers, stopping her.
"Don't leave from here", I said.
Why did I do that. I immediately regretted it.
She looked confused.
"I won't", she said as she sat down on the ground.
She was sitting down, bored, playing with her hands. Hair strands kept falling near her eye, as she kept putting them behind her ear, all irritated.
What was happening to me? I never believed in these stuff. How is this even possible?
I kept staring at her and I soon fell asleep.
{ ALIZEH'S POV }
All of this was so unexpected. Saying it was just weird, would be an understatement.
Amir, was the guy who I tried to erase from my mind on my birthday. But, I ended up here right after I thought of not thinking about him.
It's strange how destiny and fate changes everything. Who knew, Amir would be someone I bumped into two days before my birthday.
Amir kept staring at me, I didn't want to look at him so I started doing random things like putting hair strands behind my ear, waiting for him to fall asleep.
He kept looking at me without even blinking like I was the most interesting thing on Earth.
Ya Allah, why is he so hard to understand? What does he want?He finally fell asleep. Thank God, he won't keep looking at me now.
Random, really random thoughts went through my mind, as I tried to avoid thinking about Amir.
Why does the word 'bed' actually look like a bed?
Why do we have a runny nose and a smelly feet?
Why is it called cargo when it goes by a ship and shipment when it's done by a car?
Okay, calm down. I would have never thought that I could have such pointless and weird ideas.
Until, I realized this is the best time, the best time to run away. It's broad daylight, it's very safe.
I slowly, very slowly went outside. I didn't make a single sound, I ran away like a thief.
Good bye Amir, actually Amir Mirza since you prefer being called by your full name.
Little, did I know how much I would regret this decision. Why am I such an idiot?
Please vote and comment! 😊 Neela_Nour so she did run away 😏
