100+ reads in one day? Very happy about that! How was the first two chapters of The Lifelong Death? I really enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy reading it too.
Oh Haroon Malik, you still are flying high in the sky right now. Wait for your daughters birthday, and look what I do. I will hurt you the same way you hurt me. It's called tit for tat. Poor your daughter who will die for something she never did, just like my FATHER!
{ ALIZEH'S POV }
This is it! It's my 20th birthday! I can't believe it, I have lived for two decades.
I wore my gown that was even prettier than the one that the stupid so-called rich heartthrob had ruined. Why am I thinking about him? Whatever!
Mitali did my makeup as she was an expert. I told her to keep it very minimum and natural. I didn't like caked up make up. She applied two drops of foundation and spread it around my whole face with a beauty blender. She put pink glittery eyeshadow and applied a thin coat of mascara to my eyelashes.
"Your brows and eyelashes are so beautiful you don't even need make up", she said.
"No wonder why I like my makeup natural", I smirked.
She put lipstick and highlighter.
"Voila! We are done!"
She did my hair too! She was such an expert. She made a high bun while leaving some strands of hair in front of my face. She curled the hair that she left in front.
I put a light pink silk veil on my head as I liked to dress modest. But, my hair was still pretty visible. It wasn't like hijab where all of the hair is covered.
I waited for Mitali to get ready. She too looked beautiful. She was wearing the light blue knee length gown, she bought the other day when... lets forget that arrogant bish.
We went downstairs. My father invited so many people. I didn't expect it to be this big, I mean like yes it was supposed fo be grand but like 500+ people?
Well on the bright side... I get more gifts.
The party was pink and gold themed, my two favourite colors that created a mesmerizing combination together.
All my friends were here. They all wished me and gave me my presents. I know I turned 20, but I still am that child that can't wait to open her gifts.
People complimented my hair, makeup and outfit too. Everything was so perfect.
It was time we would cut the cake. My mother lit the candles. There were two cakes: one that was three big layers of vanilla and chocolate flavour with lots of decorations and the other that was red velvet. I got the vanilla and chocolate one for its satisfying look and red velvet for its taste. Red velvet was my favourite flavour, even more than chocolate.
Everyone sang Happy Birthday. We also did the Are you one? Are you two? ... thing and went up till 20. Damn every year the counting feels longer, well it is longer.
I realized the zip of my gown had kind of opened, so I went upstairs to fix it.
I entered my room and locked the door as I didn't want anyone to see me zipping up my gown.
It was hard to reach my back and zip it up, so I texted Mitali to come help me.
Until, I realized someone broke in through the window and tied my hands and put tape around my mouth.
Oh my Allah, I was being kidnapped. I tried to scream but I was helpless.
The kidnapper put me inside one of those big saggy brownish-yellow bags. He also left a letter in my room.
Why would someone kidnap me?
