Count Dooku stood in front of a wall of screens. His attention was focused specifically on one that showed a Jedi and her remaining troops fighting off five or so dozen battle droids.

"Such a waste," he chuckled to himself, "she could have been a useful ally."

He watched as a bolt hit her in the leg, and once more in the side.

Pity, he thought as he gestured with his hand towards the counsel.

The screens shut off as if suddenly broken. Dooku strode out of the room and into a long corridor. He turned to the left and the door slid open. In the center of this new room was a large holoprojecter. Walking toward it, he fiddled with the buttons until a life-sized image of a young, robed figure appeared, seemingly hovering in midair.

"Master," the figure said, kneeling.

"You are in position Ando?" Dooku asked.

"Yes my Master," the young man said, pulling back the hood of his cloak to reveal his scarred face, "I will not fail you this time."

"And if you do..." the Sith said, irritated by the boy's pompous attitude, "the consequences will be dire."

Dooku released the Force-grip he had absentmindedly been strangling Ando with.

"Do the Jedi suspect you?" Dooku questioned.

"They do not know how I plan against them." Ando coughed, rubbing his hand against his throat, "And have you carried out your part of the bargain? Is she dead?"

Dooku nodded.

"Jedi Master Anera Noli was unfortunately attacked in the dessert by our forces. The Jedi and her troops were... overrun."

Both men grinned with pleasure.

"Good, I will await Kenobi and Skywalker and tell them of the tragedy that befell my Master." Ando confirmed.

They bowed and Dooku broke the connection.

If this plan fails, he thought, my master will be most displeased.

"We need to break through this blockade!" Anakin Skywalker said into his comlink while climbing into his Jedi starfighter.

"We're trying General," Rex responded, "but the Separatist forces are crushing every ship we put out there."

"You're not trying hard enough Rex." Anakin informed, his starfighter's hatch closing "We have to get these reinforcements to the surface, and soon!"

"Yes Sir!"

Anakin's fighter took off out the open hanger doors of the Deliverance with eight gunships behind him. The shuttles followed at a distance, close enough that he could do his job in keeping them safe, but not too close that they would be hit anytime he decided to try something risky. A worried whistle came from his astromech droid R2-D2.

"Yeah Artoo, I see 'em." Skywalker said glancing out his side view port at the five Vulture Droids that already tailed him and the ships.

"Okay bud, cut the engines." he ordered the droid.

Artoo gave an alarmed beep as if it would somehow stop his owner.

"Just trust me."

The engines of the small one-man starfighter shut down and the ship floated backwards, while the five Vulture Droids sped past.

"Light 'em up Artoo!"

The engines turned on and R2-D2 fired a missile at the Vulture in the front of the V-shaped formation of droids. The droid exploded, its debris slamming into the surrounding Vultures. They too burst into flames, and their remains plummeted down to the planet below.
