Maxus POV:
We had started liking these creatures called 'humans.' Since we wanted this species to thrive (and we knew Karagé would be bringing more humans from Earth) we all decided (Volcanus, Ergoraptor, Drago, Fawkes, Erza, and me) that we would share our magic with them.
I was training a male named Richard. I specialized in Air and Fire Magic, so that's what I taught him. He was a very fast learner, to my surprise and fortune.
When our training session was finished, I brought him back to my roost. My sister, Erza, and my brother, Fawkes, were already there, waiting patiently with their trainees.
I recognized each and every one of them. Erza was ruffling her feathers with a female named Mera giggling at her side. Fawkes was busy trying to find food to eat with another female named Janis (no, not my uncle Janos, a human named Janis.)
Erza specializes in Water and Air Magic, and Fawkes specializes in Blood and Air Magic. I really hope Fawkes isn't teaching Janis Blood Magic though. Who knows what could happen.
Volcanus POV:
Hi. I'm Volcanus. And ironically, I can't use Fire Magic. I can use Ground and Magma Magic, but not Fire Magic for some reason. Oh yeah, and like every dragon, I have Dragon Arsenal Magic, which is sort of like a, you know, arsenal of fight moves that we can mix with Elemental Magic to create an extra-powerful type of Magic, called combo Magic. Phoenixes have this too, but there form of magic is Phoenix Arsenal Magic. Still don't get it? Let me give you an example.
Obviously I could just use an Eruption spell or Earthquake spell, or I could use Dragon Fist or Dragon Fang, but I can also use Draconian Eruption and High-Magnitude Dragon Fist. These combo spells take a lot of energy to cast, but they do quite a lot of damage in return. Also, you can combine elements, which takes less energy but it does less damage than the combo spells. These spells are called combo elements. However, they do pack a heavier punch than basic spells.
Anyway, Magmagis and I were about to finish training when Karagé came bursting in. I rolled my eyes and asked, "What are you doing here, sir?"
He simply replied, "To come check on your training, of course. What else would I be doing?" He said his response as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
I sighed. "Magmagis, tell him what you learned so far."
My pupil explained how Dragon Magic worked and he also demonstrated some simple spells that I taught him.
Magmagis rubbed the ground and cited an incantation. Out of the ground, some lava appeared.
Karagé looked satisfied. "You are a very good teacher, Volcanus. I am proud. Now I better start checking on your siblings and their students."
I said a simple "thank you" and waited for him to leave.

[3]This chapter is called the 6 ancestors because it shows the 6 ancestors of the mages in the future. These 6 ancestors are the Phoenix and dragons, who teach the first human sorcerers.
