The 6 ancestors and the mages were sleeping. Dawn came and Fawkes and Janis woke up, bright and early. They did because today was the ultimate test-Janis would have to show Karagé what she had learned and she had to do it professionally. So, they decided to get some extra training before the big event. And if Janis failed, she would be sent back to Earth, stripped of her powers. All the other mages had to do this too.
One by one the others woke up. However, at around 6 AM, they were startled to hear a loud rumbling noise coming from the ground.
Vandin and Karagé immediately recognized the sound. "Everyone, the demons and Myartana are coming to attack the world!"
All the ancestors and the other gods doubted their statement until Janos confirmed this. "Some random guy set the fucking demons free! Who in their right mind would be so idiotic?"
Karagé frowned. "Enough with the curse words already."
Vandin then reminded Karagé about the other humans that he had summoned a little over a week ago, to the other side of the dimension.
"Dad, what are we gonna do about the humans that you summoned here? We can't let the demons find out, or they will massacre the humans."
Karagé nodded. "Vandin, I've got this all under control. By the end of the day, the demons will be right back in hell."
However, Karagé didn't know that the demons had made a super weapon they called G.A.W.D.(Gargantuan Anti-God Weapon of the Demons.) Well actually, he knew it existed, but he assumed the name was just to scare shit out of the gods. That is, until they used it.
They launched G.A.W.D. high up into the air. First, it verbally noted it's command sequence. Then, it started Phase 1 of it's destruction.
The encasing shattered with energy and there was a huge fireball in the sky, which let out a sonic boom. Then, it released a wave of fire, which incinerated pretty much everything around it. The place was in flames.
The mages didn't see the rest of the destruction because Karagé sent them to the future. Each one of the ancestors gave their blessing to each respective student, and Karagé gave them one final message: "Keep your kind safe for us, okay?" he said tearfully, before sending them forward in time.
