A month has passed since I told Lily and Magmagis about the problem.
Today was the day that I would storm the Royal's Club so that I could finally complete this stupid assignment and live in peace. Want to know why I have such a bad attitude? I was constantly bullied, loaded with extra homework from teachers because they thought that I could be great for the school's currently jeopardized reputation, pressured with research from the Magic Government, and depressed because I am a naturally social person and because of this assignment I was forced to be alone.
I woke up early-at around 4:00 Morning. I brought Lily with me. She used Velocity Manipulation 100% which caused us to go at 800 mph. We arrived at the school in seconds. About a week ago, I managed to hijack the restraining wristband; therefore, whenever I entered school, I could still use my full power.
Lily was quite tired so we waited for half an hour so she could recover some energy. Then, we broke in. The alarm activated as planned. All of the security guards blocked the entrance. That wasn't an issue, however, because we simply flew to the second floor.
I broke in through a room window, knowing there would be no guards. All of the Royals, including Magmagis, were present-and they seemed to be in a trance. Lily appeared to be unaffected by this.
I used a new spell I had created myself that mixes Light Magic and Dragon Magic-Blade of Justice. A thin, sharp blue blade appeared in my hand. And no, I did not attempt to kill them. I tried to break the spell they were being controlled by.
I did a lot of research for this day. This spell is a Monster-type Magic called Demonic Mind Control that is exactly what it sounds like. A demon draws a special symbol in the ground and then performs a ritual. After that, they recite an incantation. Everyone with a special amulet or related device will be affected. They are distributed to everyone at the beginning of the term (anything the Ace says usually goes.) If they didn't come at the first day of school, they are given out when the pupil begins their term. However, I told Lily (I honestly don't care about Magmagis) to not wear it as I sensed Dark Magic from it. However, the spell I created is completely harmless to good humans. It's called Blade of Justice because it brings justice. It is extremely deadly to humans who have bad intentions, Dark Magic (Magic that is intended for purely killing; it can be any type.), and monsters-especially demons.
I swung wildly. Slowly but surely the Royals began to regain their senses. When the last Royal was saved, I quickly explained the situation to them before leaving to defeat Myartana.
The Royals divided themselves into groups-each being responsible for liberating one of the five floors. We were to defeat Myartana.
We quickly ran to the rooftop, as I detected Myartana at that region. Myartana, along with an army of demons, awaited us.
Standing alongside Myartana were two gods that I could not recognize. This was a problem because I would not know their Magic. I equipped my Blade of Justice and began to fight.
Lily used Velocity Manipulation to enhance our movement speed while using Electric Magic to defend herself. We slayed many demons. However, we were losing-we were slowly running out of energy and we were yet to damage the divinity.
But Blade of Justice wasn't the only new thing I created. I produced a dice from my pocket quickly and then I rolled it. I call this dice the XterminatoR. This is how it works:You take the dice before the fight and enchant each side. When you roll it during the fight, the side you roll gives you the enchantment you previously enchanted it with-however, the power of the enchantment is multiplied by the amount of dots on the side. As you can see, I built this dice very meticulously.
I rolled XterminatoR. The side facing up had five dots. Haste, I thought to myself. Haste was a spell I created that was enchantable on XterminatoR. It boosts your attack speed, speed, reactions, train of thought, and Magic output. And since it is the side with five dots on it, the dice will return Haste five times the strength I enchanted the dice with.
I was suddenly going extremely quickly (do not forget about Lily's Velocity Manipulation.) and killing every monster in sight. I sensed that the gods were now fearful and thus they amplified their Magic power. I activated the risky, powerful, and destructive spell Dragon Zen almost immediately. I became part dragon. I was now faster than Mach Eight. My spells were hitting with not only amplified power, they were hitting their targets so incredibly quickly that not even the gods had time to react. I was winning.
The two partners of Myartana had already fled at this point. Now, all that was left was Myartana. Soon, my Haste wore off. So, I rolled the dice again.
Now the problem with overusing XterminatoR is that overusing Magical power can destroy your being and the container-meaning I could easily destroy XterminatoR and or myself by overusing XterminatoR because of the cost of using Magic. So, I knew that this would be the last time I would use XterminatoR.
A two. This activates my most powerful boost-Teleportation. Using this, I can legitimately teleport (the government helped with making this boost if you're wondering) up to 10 meters per use; however, the cost of using Teleportation is large-I lose my sense of direction for half a second. And because power is doubled, I can teleport up to 20 meters, but I lose my sense of direction for a whole second. Dang, I really need to be careful when using this.
I kicked Myartana in the face. I then activated Blade of Justice again and then I started battling her. I deflected her spells while slashing at her. It did little damage to her due to her place as a goddess, but it was still effective. Suddenly, she used a spell that was dangerously close to hitting me. So, I teleported.
Myartana speedily recognized that I was confused. She pushed me off the roof. After that, she used Barrier, a spell that creates a barrier, to block off my escape. But I was not going to give up. I have one last trick up my sleeve.
Out of my pocket, I took out a deck of cards, which I called Magik. Each card set had a certain amount of Magic power that could be used as anything. Each card set consisted of five cards, like in Poker. The highest card was the amount of Magic power attained. Of course, if you drew something like a flush, all the cards would count. Confusing? Let me explain.
If you drew an Ace, a King, A Six, A Nine, and a Four, you would go by High Card. So, you would get an Ace amount of power. If you drew a pair, the pair cards added together would be the amount of Magic power you will have gained. Same goes for three and four of a kind, except the corresponding card would be tripled and quadrupled, respectively. If you drew a flush, the value of the shape is multiplied by your highest card (Clubs 2, Hearts 3, Diamonds 3, and Spades 4.) If you drew a straight, the cards are added together. If you drew a straight flush, the cards are added together, and then they are multiplied by half of the shape's value. If you drew a royal flush, you get an automatic 75. I had to do it this way to make sure I don't burn up from Magic overuse.
I drew the first card. It was an Ace of Spades. The second card was a King of Spades. The third was a Queen of Spades. The fourth was a 10 of Spades. And the fifth? A Jack of Spades. It was a royal flush! I used this massive amount of Magic power to freeze Myartana and then teleport her under the barrier. I stabbed Blade of Justice right at her weak point (every god has a weak point-and Myartana's was her left kneecap. If you strike that area, their bodies become more human, resulting in an easier fight for you.)
Soon after that, we crashed on the ground, after falling five entire floors.
