So it appears that there is some suspicious activity there, like a possible teenage crime syndicate and also an unconfirmed murder has occurred at that academy.
We told Isabella and Co. (yup, that's what I'm gonna call those four) about us entering their school. Of course, we didn't tell them about the assignment because it was to be top secret. They freaked out.
"What?! How can you simply just attend our school? There is an application process and you have to be accepted! And only the smartest or the most powerful get in." Elaine said, in a seemingly irritated tone.
"Yeah! And since you three are so powerful, it would mess up our school quite a lot. Eric, you know how much damage you could cause?" Isabella said, worriedly.
"Chill ladies, I got this. Besides, I'm swear I won't overuse my Magic. After all, Isabella did say I'm the most powerful Magician in the clan right now." I assured them.
Isabella sighed and said, "Alright. I'll trust you three for now. Since you three are now attending our school, I'll have to explain how the school works. Listen carefully."
We three nodded in unison. "Okay. So the most important thing is, our school, The Private Academy for Magicants, is a very prestigious school but is also very good at covering things up. Therefore, we can use our Magic freely in the building as long as we don't hurt the outside world. My headmaster calls the policy 'An opportunity to practice Magic in school.' Other schools can also use their Magic; but they restrict students from overly harming other students unless absolutely necessary. At this school and a few others, however, we can harm other students as much as we want; as long as we have a good reason for it and we don't kill the other students."
We nodded in understanding. "Also, at our school, there is the Royal's Club, where the strongest Magicants gather. There are thirteen positions-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace. They take part in the School vs. School Battle Tournament and they help the school faculty manage the school by overseeing school affairs, no matter how private. Also, if someone is strong enough, they can dethrone one of the members of the Royal's Club and take the position the original member had. And when you're in the Royal's Club, you can dethrone whoever is superior to you by defeating them and then you two swap positions. And Eric, if you are going to do that, try aiming for the 10 or Jack first-because even though you probably could, if you dethrone the King or Ace when you are not in the Royal's Club, it will cause sudden chaos; and also, they are pretty good at their job, so why don't you leave them to it?"
I nodded and then asked, "Is that it?" She shook her head, to my slight disappointment.
"Finally, the school began on month 1 day 31. But, since it is month 3 day 11, you will have missed a lot, so try to catch up, okay?" She finished.
My trio nodded. I could easily catch up because of my Psychic brain, which enhanced all my brain functions-it made me react faster, better at memorization, better at skill building, smarter, and able to mind read and use telekinetic related powers.
Tomorrow, we would be going to school.
The next day, I woke up. I was in my clan room. (I didn't go home because I didn't have one lol) The government had told the academy that we were on a top secret assignment that would require our attendance at school. Obviously the school complied.
The academy mailed us three school uniforms, school supplies, backpacks, schedules, and information regarding the school-kind of like a brochure. They also said usually only kids with scholarships get these kind of packages, so we three were going to have to act like we received a scholarship (meaning we had to act really smart.)
Lily and I didn't have a problem with this as we naturally possessed high intellect but Magmagis was only average so he complained. We rolled our eyes and told him that we would help him during school and let him copy our homework. He brightened up after that.
Isabella and Co. went on a vehicle to make the commute to school but we simply ran because we could run up to 800 miles per hour with Lily's Velocity Manipulation (even though that kind of Magic makes her tired quickly if used to that point.)
We ran right next to the bus on the sidewalk at about twenty miles per hour for about ten minutes. The bus stopped, so we did too. Why did it stop? Because we arrived.
