I speed-walked back to my hotel (I walk a lot. Again with the judging). I looked at the time on my phone: 3:47pm. Wow. Time flies fast.

I had a good 2 and a 1/2 hours to kill

I had a good 2 and a 1/2 hours to kill. So I decided to have an actual bath this time, hoping I remembered how to actually have one. Spending ten years hopping from place to place didn't give the me luxury of having a long, relaxing bath. A shower is what I had to have and I never complained. I never really had the patience for just lying in soapy water pondering life; I never really had time to think, I just did.

I remembered all of this while in the bathtub, now realising why I never had one in the first place; they're boring and pointless.

Once I believed I was done, I hopped into the shower and washed myself off. Wait..that doesn't make sense..but I'm sure you know what I mean.

By the time I got out, it was 4:30. That sure was the longest time I've ever taken to have a bath.

I decided to let my hair dry naturally, since I had time. In the spare time I had left, I FaceTime-d Oliver and Felicity. I didn't know how long it took to get there so I gave myself 1 hour and a 1/2. They asked so many questions, I barely had time to ask my own. They asked questions like,

'How's Barry?' (You can guess who asked that)
'When are you coming back?' (Ollie)
'How's Central?'
'How're you holding up?'
'Any cute guys?' (Again you can tell)
'Has anyone found out?' (Ollie, obviously. I mean, seriously Ollie? Do you have no faith in me?)

It was as if I'd been gone for years and not 24 hours. So we said our goodbyes after I told them I was going to the launch and I went to get ready. I brushed my hair and left it down for once in my life, but made sure to keep a hair tie around my wrist just in case. I wore my new clothes, knowing that they would soon become old and ragged after wearing them out. I brushed my bangs to one side and slid my fully charged phone into my back pocket.

Since my jacket was stained after the incident (I managed to scrub most of it off, now it's a faint patch) I decided to not wear a jacket at all, after seeing the weather forecast. 'Nothing to worry about' they said, 'Tonight will be a clear, fresh night' they said.
