Seven months after getting struck by lightning (through a human conductor) and falling into a little coma, I had finally gotten a hang of my 'visibility with terms and conditions'. I had come to said terms and conditions and my body complied.

I tried on the suit Cisco made weeks after he gave it. I didn't feel worthy enough to wear it at first, hence my hesitation but now I actually could do something to help, I put it on, and boy did I feel super. Wearing it didn't make me feel like that awkward rambling Avery Davis but more like a new and upgraded version, Avery 2.0 if you will. And I know I should be happy with who I am without this piece of clothing but, hey, we all have our insecurities. I felt like I could take on anything.

How did I get my invisibility to agree with me? I had to concentrate. Hard and for days on end. I tried so many different ways I got literal brain freeze without the ice. I finally managed it when I physically had to imagine this new power coursing through my veins, intertwined with my DNA permanently (as far as I knew) and I imagined every single cell in my body turning off.

And it worked.

I was kinda creeped out at first look into a mirror without a reflection looking back at me but I finally felt like all the criminals out there were one step closer to being locked away.

As Shadoe, and even before then, I made it my mission to never take a life. Even after all the crap I've been through, and let me tell you I've been through a load of it since before I even left the city, I have never taken a human life - it was hard to convince Oliver to stop killing -even for the right reasons, but I had help and I feel we're on the right track because even though we're two people in this huge world I still feel as if we can make a difference no matter how small.

So anyways, I could finally control my invisibility. That was almost six months ago. It's been over five months since Shadoe's appearance in Central City, for better or for worse. No one has been able to get a picture just yet and I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible. But there are blogs and news about me online and on television. Those who have seen me, have seen my symbol. The people of Central City know that I've moved from Starling. They know my name. And I am not afraid of that. They know I am the Shadoe.

To me, it was just another day in my life. It's been pretty inactive on the whole saving lives spectrum; I haven't come across any other super humans directly as of yet, but I have seen the after math of their destruction and it gets worse as the days go by. They're getting more powerful.

Back to my day. I woke up, was late for work as per usual, had a few leftover pizza slices from last night (What, I never said I was a health guru), then I went to STAR Labs for my regular check up. They had to keep tabs on me. With that weird metabolism an all. I'd check up on Barry at the same time.

So there I was, rolling down my sleeves after my regular check up, Caitlin and Cisco were having a disagreement over Poker Face, I was just about to but in with my opinion (also known as sarcasm), when Barry Allen over here woke up from his beauty sleep.

I froze while putting on my jacket, Cisco turned around and jumped out of his 'dope' pants and yelled,

"Oh my God!" I think He heard you from way up there, dude.

"Where am I?" Barry gasped, his eyes frantically took in the sight before him.

"He's up!" Called out Caitlin.

Wait, really? I certainly didn't notice.

"Dr Wells, get down to the cortex, like, right now." I heard Cisco say on the mic.
When his eyes locked themselves onto me, his face morphed from one of confusion to recognition.

"Hey, Barry,"I said softly, "How are you feeling?"

He opened his mouth but Caitlin decided it was the perfect time to give him a doctorate assault.

"Pulse is 120."

She proceeded to shine a blinding light into his eyes.

He kept fidgeting around, restless. Totally opposite of the way I reacted then again he was out for what was coming up to a year. The worst part was that he missed his birthday.

"Pupils equally reactive to light. Look at me." I had to admit, I felt sorry for the man. She was being a tad harsh.

"Hey, hey, hey. Woah. Relax. Everything's ok, man. You're in STAR Labs." Barry stopped fidgeting and looked at Cisco.

"STAR Labs?" He echoed, "Who are you?"

"I'm Cisco. She's Caitlin." He rolled his eyes when he saw her look, "Dr Snow. And you already know Avery."

Caitlin stuck a pot in his face,

"I need you to urinate in this." Cisco grabbed it off of her,

"Not this second!" I had to rub my forehead; de ja vu much?

Barry walked away from them,

"What are you-what is happening? What's going on?"

"You were struck by lightning, dude!"

He got up and went to the machine thingy that zoomed into his abdomen.

"Lightning gave me abs?" Caitlin started saying something about his body. All I caught was,

"Your body is somehow in a chronic and unexplained state of cellular regeneration. Yours too, Avery." He looked at me, confusion written all over his slap-worthy face,

"You too? What does she mean?" I sighed, excited to relive my stupidity again,

"I, being the brave person I am, attempted to save you. From a lightning bolt. Obviously I failed and you passed the electricity through me instead."

Cisco grabbed his shoulder,

"Come here. Have a seat." Barry sat.

"You were in a coma." He said gravely. Well, gravely as Cisco could get.

"For how long?" I was wondering who was gonna break it to him when Dr. Wells took that as his que and wheeled in,

"Nine months. Welcome back, Mr. Allen. We have a lot to discuss."

Barry and Dr Wells went for a walk. I guessed it was to show him what happened. Like he did me.

As they came into the cortex, Dr Wells was telling Barry about Joe and Iris giving him permission to bring him here.

"Iris?" Was that all he got from it?

"Iris. Yes. She came to see you quite often."

"She talks a lot." Caitlin stated.

"Also, she's hot." Cisco. Obviously.

"I need to go." Barry said.

"No, you can't!" Caitlin exclaimed.

"No, no. Caitlin's right. Now that you're awake, we need to do more tests. You're still going through changes. There's so much that we don't know." That explained partly why they kept me for three weeks. They didn't say that to me though. Weird... Then again, if they did run tests, they may have found out.

"I'm fine, really. I feel normal." Not for long.

"Thank you for saving my life." And then he walked out.

"Really?" Said Caitlin.

"Trust me. He'll be..." I trailed off as he popped his head back in,

"Can I keep the sweatshirt?"

Dr Wells sighed,

"Yeah, keep the sweatshirt."

"Ok."

"...Back. Again."
