Chapter 10

Riley's POV

I woke up in the morning, feeling an unusual pressure on the side of my bed. I turned over and saw Lucky asleep with her back facing me.

I cocked an eyebrow. Last night, I'm pretty sure she had fell asleep in her own bed, unless I fell asleep in her bed as well.

I looked around our room. Yeah, I was in my bed alright. Lucky just suddenly made her way next to me without me knowing.

"Wait, so... Did we do it?" My wolf asked. She was just waking up as well.

"Fuck." I cursed. I pulled the covers up to see if we were naked. But, we were both covered, so I'm guessing we didn't do anything sexual last night.

"Aw man, I was hoping we got the chance to enter no man's land."

I sighed. "You need to shut the hell up."

"Both of to need to be quiet." Lucky's voice popped into my head. She rolled over to face me. "I'm trying to sleep."

I looked at her with a confused look. "You can hear my thoughts now?"

She nodded. "You can hear your mate's thoughts as soon as you first encounter them." Lucky sat up, and ran her hand through her hair. "Since I was dating Crystal though, I figured that I'd let you have your privacy."

"Well, now that she can hear us..." My wolf grinned.

"Don't even fucking think about it. Not while we're on her good side."

My wolf growled, but she behaved. Lucky giggled at us.

"It's not funny." I tapped my temple. "She's such a pup."

"Hey, I'm just as old as you are, asshole!"

"In dog years, 19 is only two years and about seven months. So, you're still young."

"This happens everyday?" Lucky asked in amusement.

"Unfortunately." I shook my head. "Anyway, um, how did you find yourself next to me last night?"

Lucky blushed, then she started to stutter. "I, uh..." She looked over her shoulder. "Well what do you know, class starts in an hour. I should go get ready." She laughed nervously, then ran into the bathroom.

A tiny smile made its way to my face. I sat back on the bed. Class was going to start in an hour, but I didn't feel like going.

I heard Lucky start the shower. I decided to turn on the TV to occupy myself. About ten minutes into the cartoon I was watching, there was a knock on the door.

I groaned. I rolled out from the bed, revealing the tank top and boy shorts that I was sporting, and answered the door.

"Savannah, you look like shit." I laughed. Savannah stood in the hallway, and shot daggers at me. Her hair was a hot ass mess.

"That's what happens when you go at it for hours and hours." My friend basically limped into the room

I shut the door. "Did Sydney go rough on you last night?" I asked, eyeing the numerous hickies on her neck, arms, and basically any part of her exposed skin.

"Hey, at least I'm getting some." She stuck her to tongue out at me. "When was the last time you humped a girl?"

"Do you want me to slit your throat, because that can easily be arranged."

Savannah sat on her bed and shook her head. "Calm it, Riley. Anyway, I heard Lucky broke up with Crystal to be with you, so congrats."

"Damn right she did." I said proudly. "It took her long enough."
