Lia woke up to the sun shining in her room and the sound of the morning birds singing. She looked around and took in her surroundings of the room. The room was so spacious that she was confused about where she was until she remembered last nights events.
She got out of that soft bed and then took a look around the room. It amazed her that she had so much space in the bedroom and how everything felt like she was staying in a luxury hotel. The room was connected to a bathroom which again amazed her. There was a jacuzzi bathtub right by the window so she could see the palm trees, a very spacious walk in glass shower, and the toilet was in another room to add more privacy. She snooped in the draws and found bathroom necessities that haven't been used yet.
She went out of the bathroom to find a walk in closet in her bedroom that was very spacious but it was completely empty. It looked like no one has used this room before. The empty closet worried her a bit as she had nothing else to wear but the night gown that Kazuki had given her. All of her clothes had been left in Italy.
She went out to her balcony and took in some fresh cool morning air and listened to the morning birds sing. She noticed that there was a pool in the backyard and that the house was quite large. In fact, it wasn't a house at all. It was a mansion surrounded by the tropical forest on this island.
She went back inside and decided to exit her room and heard the sound of a piano that was beautifully played. She recognized the tune, she knew it was Moonlight Sonata. It was a well-known piece that everyone knew and she wasn't really into classical music but, she decided to follow it. She reached a music room to reveal that the piece was being played by Kazuki right from memory. He gave her a smile when he noticed that she entered the room. She smiled back at him and sat down on the couch to listen to him play the piece. Every note he pressed, made her feel so much emotion than she's ever felt when other people have played this piece. He ended it beautifully but Lia didn't want it to end.
"Good morning," he said to snap her back into reality.
"Oh! Good morning." She looked over at the piano. "I had no idea you could play so beautifully. I've never heard anything like it."
"You like classical music?"
"Well, not exactly. Maybe I do. I just never had much exposure to it. I've heard a little bit but not enough to actually get into it. I've never even touched an instrument."
"I see." He gave her a soft smile. "Perhaps we can change that while you're here."
Lia then felt some excited but also very nervous about his words. She had no music knowledge and wasn't sure about it quite yet. The idea scared her but she was a little curious about learning how to play.
"I'm not sure yet. I would have to think about that."
Kazuki got off the piano bench and walked over towards her.
"Not to worry. If it's something you're not sure about, then I won't force you."
"Thank you."
Lia smiled and then the moment was interrupted by Lia's stomach that decided to growl at the wrong time. Her face instantly turned red in embarrassment.
"I see you're hungry," Kazuki teased.
"I'm sorry," Lia said in a hurry.
"Relax. I'm actually glad that you're showing signs of wanting to eat finally."
"Wait, you actually knew?"
Kazuki nodded. "I knew you were having difficulty consuming food from the very first day I met you. Before I even sat down at your table, I saw you had trouble getting that drink down but I saw you trying to fight through it."
