Hunger

"Happy, bright and innocent
Full of friends and family and love
A past with Disney marathons
And Wild days with Waves
'She's a beautiful girl, so talkative and strong!'

So then why am I like this
Addicted to tales of war and death
My time is spent
Constructing painful lives
With sunny days
And dark times
I yearn for destruction
I fear a boring life
A life of thrill
It's so much more appealing
Dragons under castles
Brothers fighting monsters
And a man in a bowtie
A school of magic
A camp of half-bloods
Books full of stories
They've fed my hunger
But it just isn't enough."

"You yearn for a life of fantasy
to live in a place that's different
In a place that can only be told in books
To live where only your imagination can take you
You want to be where no one else can see
You thrive for the life others fear
To live somewhere you feel is right and free
In a place only few can understand."

So the first poem is written by me. I texted it to Demon676 , and she replied with the second poem, all credit to her.
