Drowning

33 1 1

A man so old
And yet so young
Who travels to distract
from the pain he's caused
A dark man
A bright face
A long past
He comforts those who cry
Even when it is he
who should be crying

A man so old
And yet so young
Always running
Never stays
A rose, a pond
A noble who can't remember

Those who know will all agree
A doctor means well
You just can't always save someone
who's drowning in a river
