Humankind
What a wonderful thing
We've come so far
From fire to gas-lamps
And then electricity
From horse-drawn carriages
to fast motor carsBut war after war
We never seem to change
From Hitler to the Cold War
Throw in some nuclear threats
We strive for all equality
But in the end
We'd rather be nicer to animals
Than our own goddamn kin
Oh, Humankind
What a horrible thing
