"Miss! Want to-" Yumeno's face paled as he turned me around with a small hand. "You're not supposed to be out on your own." He whispered out of shock.

I took his hat and placed it on my head. "Trust me kid, it took a lot to get away from those guards. Sit down, Yumeno." I lowered the bandana that was over my mouth. "I'll tell you a little something."

"Or," the devilish child grinned widely at me, "we could play!" He purposefully ran into my arm.

"You son of a bitch!" I cursed under my breath. Voices entered my head at such a high frequency, I fell to my knees and dropped my knife. Crying out in pain, I reached out for the kid. The fabric of his shirt brushed against my fingers.

As soon as I got ahold of him, Yumeno yelled. "Help! This woman is trying to hurt me! Help me!"

The voices got even louder and a crowd got around me. My hand made it to the knife holder that I had attached to my pants. Vigorously shaking my head, I stood and made the small throwing knife a katana sword. I swung the sword around to get the people off of me, knowing very well that I was attacking innocent people and that most of what I was seeing wasn't actually happening thanks to Yumeno. Through the gory scene that I caused, I saw Yumeno laughing on a train that was speeding away.

My legs went on overdrive. There was no way I'd catch up to the train. My head throbbed and I wasn't able to focus on anything I thought was reality. A fire burned in my lungs, but I kept running.

"Ah!" I yelled out as my body slammed down onto the concrete. The clang of my sword was too far from my reach to retrieve. The loud screeching was replaced with the normal sounds of the train station. Turning into a cat, i scurried away from the person who attacked me.

"Aliceina! Stop!"

That voice. I turned back into my human form. "Ain't it the were-tiger that gets distracted by cute little kittens such as myself." I smirked.

"Doesn't this bother you?" Atsushi gestured to the bodies the police were currently carrying away.

I shrugged, "All in a day's work." I turned my second knife into a sword, gripping it tightly. "I know Dazai-san broke Yumeno's curse on me. Where is he?" I demanded.

"Nice observation, Aliceina." Dazai's smug voice came from behind me.

Quickly, I jumped back from the man. He couldn't do much if he couldn't touch me, right? My eyes scanned the area to make a getaway. A bench... I bolted off towards it as Atsushi called out to me. Using the backrest as a launch pad, I jolted my body towards the train. As I got closer, I realized I wasn't going to make it. Dropping the sword, I shrank and braced myself for some kind of impact. My body bounded on something. I gasped out for air, but I couldn't get any. I was heaving on my stomach, not even fully aware of where I was. Time wasn't on my side, so I decided to grow and force myself to stand. Clumsily, I slipped off of the silk table cloth that was on the table I landed on.

"Motherf-!" I coughed out some blood onto the navy blue carpet. Pushing myself up, I ran up a dozen carts until I was around where I saw Yumeno enter.

Tons of people gasped at my appearance. Several asked if I was okay. Their efforts to see if I was alright were in vain, I merely pushed passed them muttering something about finding my child. There was a pain surging through my jaw: most likely it was broken or out of place. I hoped for the latter. His little hat came into view. Smiling, I sat down on one of the lumpy chairs and prepared for capture. I wiped the sweat and blood off of my forehead as I transformed the knife holster into a child's leash.

"Yumeno! There you are!" I jumped out in front of him and quickly buckled him into the apparatus. "You had mommy so worried!" Before Yumeno could scream, I made his mouth too small to use. Pulling out my phone, I dialed Akutagawa's number.

"This better be good, Ali. You do realize Chuuya's-"

"Aliceina Kingsley I'm going to kill you!" Chuuya's voice interrupted my boyfriend's. "Where the hell are you?"

"I have Q." I stated.

"Are you crazy?!" Chuuya continued with his yelling. "You can't just go off on your own whenever you feel like it! Especially with those Guild assholes after you."

I sighed as Yumeno began hitting my shoulder with his palm. "Listen, I found the kid. No harm no foul." I moved my jaw around, finally cracking it back into place. "God!" I sighed in relief. "Anyway, I was just calling to let you know I'm on the train and I'm going to bring him back."

"No you're not."

I whipped my head around at whoever had the nerve to tell me that. "Who the hell are-" Yumeno's distressed face cut me off. "Are you Steinbeck, Poe, Montgomery, or Lovecraft?" I glared at them. Chuuya's yelling could still be heard as I hung up my phone.

"Aliceina Kingsley, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm John Steinbeck and this fellow here is Lovecraft." John motioned to a tall, pale man with long dark hair. "I believe you have something of ours."

I took Yumeno into my arms and turned the window paper thin as I pushed out of it. Thankfully the train was stopped and we fell onto the landing.

"Yumeno, listen to me just this once, please don't get hurt." I stated. "Just work with me here." I fixed his mouth.

"You're in no position to fight, Kingsley-san." Yumeno noted.

"The mission... is just for... the boy..." Lovecraft stated.

John laughed, "Alright, alright."

I tried getting up, but something took a swipe at my eyes. I screamed and grabbed my face that was already covered in blood.

"Sorry, Aliceina." John's voice entered my ears. "But, we just need the boy."
