Chapter 7

Anna's POV

Lilly and I were almost done with the with the second floor. We only had one room left and when we opened the door. We found Frankie sitting in a corner crying and shaking.

"Frankie what's wrong?" Lilly asked her Frankie jumped. "We need to get out of here I don't know if the other intruder is still here but we need to leave. Where are the others?" Frankie asked us.

"They are all around the house looking for our parents. Your the first person we've found. Do you know where our parents are?" I asked Frankie.

"No. When the intruders broke in we all ran in different directions. "Ok. It's almost 11 Lilly we have to get back." I said. "What do you mean?" Frankie asked.

"We all agreed to meet back in the entryway at 11." Lilly replied. Frankie nodded. "Ok lets go see if anyone else has found anyone." I said and we walked out of the room and downstairs.

"Ma?" Bailey said and then she ran over to Frankie and hugged her then Ally came and joined them.

I then felt people hugging me from behind. I turned around and it was my Daddy and Momma. I hugged them back.

I then saw Cole's parents and him hugging, Tyler's parents and him hugging, Emma and her parents hugging, and when I looked over to Lilly she was the only one who wasn't hugging her parents.

I then got my parents attention and nodded over towards Lilly. They walked over to her and gave her a hug. "Baby it's ok. We'll find them." I said trying to comfort her. "But what if we don't?" Lilly asked. "We can't think like that. We'll find them." Daddy said.

"You don't have to." Mom said. "Mom?" Lilly asked. Then Mom and Dad can out into the entryway and Lilly ran over to them.

"Mom Dad where were you?" Lilly asked her parents. "We were in the garden when the intruders broke in." Dad said. "What was that loud bang?" Mom asked. "A gun shot." Frankie replied.

"Was someone hurt?" Dad asked. "Yes. I shot one of the intruders. He said that he was after Bailey so I reacted like any Mom would." Frankie said.

"Ma, You shot somebody for me?" Bailey asked Frankie. "Yes and I would do it again in a heartbeat." Frankie said. They then hugged again.

"Ok I don't know about all the rest of you guys but I don't think it a good idea to leave the kids here alone." Tyler's Dad said. "I agree." All of the parents said.

"Ok so let's cancel our house and rent the house down next door." Frankie said. "Ya lets do that." Dad said.

So long story short all of the adults canceled their rental houses and rented the house next door. On the bright side at lest we don't have to say goodbye.

"This has been a crazy 24 hours. Who says we go to bed?" I asked. And next thing I know all us kids were running upstairs to our rooms. "Hey Baby. Can we sleep in your room together?" Lilly asked me.

"Ya sure. Why not." I replied. She then ran over to me and picked me up bridal style and carried me to bed. We cuddle a little bit and then all of a sudden Lilly was passed out. I kissed her on her head. "Goodnight Baby. I love you." I whispered.

First full day in California
I woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes. "Baby wake up. Someone is making breakfast." I said. And then left Lilly in bed.

I walked into our bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair then got dressed. When I walked out I was surprised to see Lilly standing there fully dressed.

She went into our bathroom and brushed her teeth and hair. "You ready?" I asked her. She nodded and we walked out and headed downstairs to the kitchen. "I didn't know that you could cook." I said.
