Chapter 18

Anna's POV
Day 32
I woke up with a bright light shining on my face. I slowly opened my eyes and squinted at the light and realized it was the sun shining through the clouds.

I was confused at first then the memories of last night. A smile immediately appeared on my face. I looked around for my phone and found it on ground next the chair that Lilly and I were sleeping in.

I picked it up checked what the time was. "Ok so it's 10:30, I think I'm gonna go get coffee for everyone and maybe some breakfast burritos." I said to myself as I got up and went inside to change. I decided to put on a oversized sweater and some jean shorts and put on my yellow vans.

I walked downstairs and was about to walk out the door when I heard someone come inside from the door backyard.

I turned around and it was Ty. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Oh wouldn't you like to know. I'm going to get some coffee and brunch. You wanna come?" He nodded and ran upstairs to change in assuming.

He came back down about 5 minutes later wearing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, with his Nikes.

"You ready to go?" I asked and he nodded his head and started walking towards the door. We had to drive his truck since mine was out of gas.

We got in and I was immediately assaulted by Sam Smith blaring out of the speakers. I quickly turned it off so it wouldn't wake up anyone.

After I turned it down he and I busted out laughing. "I'm sorry. I forgot that I let Cole drive last time and we were jamming out, as you can tell." He apologized.

"It's ok. It was actually pretty hilarious." I said laughing it off. He peeled out of the driveway and started the drive to Starbucks.

We ordered the coffees and were on our way to Taco Bell to get some breakfast burritos. We had went inside and got all of the food.

We also got food for our parents considering that when we left they were already downstairs working and it looked like none of them slept or they slept downstairs.

Back in the car with all of our food and coffees we put in Ty's Sam Smith cd and we belated out the lyrics. Ty and I haven't spent barely time together just the 2 of us.

The last time that we did was when back in the beginning of the 11th grade at a party that we both decided was boring and then left and went to my house and where we just binge watched Glee for the millionth time.

Thinking back to that day I realized that we had so much fun even though all we did was watch tv. I miss those days, him and I need to hang out more before we go back to Iowa because Ty is a homegrown boy and I'm pretty sure that he won't come back with me.

"Hey Ty?" I asked and he looked at me confused. "Do you want to go up to my room and just hang out like old times? Because I was thinking and the last time that we hung out just the 2 of us was back in 11 grade and I was thinking maybe we could try to bring back the old us. 'Cause I'm pretty sure that when we go back home I'm going to be coming back here and I don't think that.." I was saying but Ty out his hand on my thigh.

"Of course I'll come back with you. We are always and forever (you see my Originals reference?) going to be together, hell we've even gone as far as planing on moving into the same apartment building when we get older. I'm not leaving." He said and I was tearing up as he finished.

"I love you, Ty. I don't understand why we stopped hanging out so much. We were basically the ones who started the gang. I mean you and I lived next to each other for basically our whole lives and then one day we just stopped being so close. I fucking knew you before I even met Lilly, we were inseparable and then 12th grade came and everything changed. From today forward we need to spend a minimum of 1 hour together everyday, just the 2 of us. It doesn't have to be all at once it can be 20 minutes here and 5 minutes there etc. but we do for real need to hang out more." I said with even more tears in my eyes and Ty was now crying too.
