Mal walked through the halls of Auradon on her way to her Math class. She spotted Ben and waved to him.
"Mal!" Ben ran over to her.
"What's up Ben? I'm on my way to Math class," Mal said.
"I was wondering... If you.... Uh.... Wanted to go on a date with me?" He asked rubbing his neck. She laughed at his nervousness. He was never nervous about asking her on a date before.
"Sure," she said shrugging.
"Great! I'll see you later," he said and walked away looking at her. He ran into the lockers. Mal gasped. "I'm okay!" he said and she laughed.
Later.....
Mal met up with Ben at her locker.
"You ready?" Mal asked.

Ben turned when he heard her voice.
"Wow..... Mal you look....."
"I know. Evie did it. I wanted less makeup," Mal said.
"No, you look great," Ben said.
"Thanks," Mal said blushing. "Shall we go?"
"Yeah," Ben said. He handed her a helmet. "We can take my bike."
"Okay," Mal said. Ben drove them to a spot out in the woods.
"Here we are," Ben said and guided Mal to a spot he had prepared.

"Ben.... It's beautiful," Mal said.
"Glad you like it," Ben said smiling. The two sat down and started eating.
"You even got strawberries," Mal said smiling.
"Of course I did," Ben said and gave her one.
"So, what's this all about?"
"Can't I just have a nice picnic date with my girlfriend?"
"Hmmm, you can. But, I can tell that's not why you brought me here," Mal said.
"We'll worry about that later," Ben said. Mal laughed.
They stayed there until dusk
"This was nice," Mal said helping Ben pack up. He still hadn't gotten the courage to ask her.
"Yeah," Ben said.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Mal asked.
"Not really. I want to ask you something, but I don't know how," Ben said.
"Well, just ask me," Mal said as she stopped packing.
"Okay," Ben said. He took her hands and they stood up. He took a deep breath.
"Mal, since the first time I saw you I fell in love with you. You're smart, and talented. I couldn't imagine dating another girl. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Ben said as he got down on one knee. "Mal, will you marry me?"
Mal covered her mouth with her hands gasping. "Ben...." She nodded slowly. "Yes," she said quietly.
