Chapter 11

"So..." Uma tried to start a conversation with Evie, Carlos, and Jay. "How's life?"

Carlos and Jay just glared. "Alrighty then...." Uma said and sighed.

"Sorry Uma, we're just trying to.... Get a hold on this situation," Evie said.

"Yeah, I mean, you did try to kill us," Carlos said and Evie elbowed him in the stomach. 

"Carlos!" Evie said.

"No, it's fine. He's right," Uma said.

"Where Harry?" Jay asked.

"On the Isle," Uma said looking away.

"So you're the only one who escaped?" Carlos asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yup," Uma said shrugging.

"Right..." Jay said and then stood up when Mal and Ben entered the room.

"So?" Evie asked.

"Uma... You can stay, for now," Mal said glaring. She could have sworn Uma smirked. 

"I have decided that you may go to Auradon Prep as a student, granted you never do anything evil," Ben said. 

"I promise," Uma said. What no one saw was that she was crossing her fingers under the table. 

"Good," Ben said and seemed satisfied with her answer.

"Evie, can I talk to you?" Mal asked. Evie nodded and walked outside with Mal.

"What's up?" Evie asked.

"I don't trust her," Mal said glancing at the door.

"Who? Uma?"

"Yes."

"Neither do I. But, we have to believe that she'll change."

"I know...."

"Don't worry Mal. Ben knows what he's doing."

"I know that too. I just have this feeling..."

"The same feeling you had when you thought I was pregnant?"

Mal nodded. "I was right wasn't I?"

"Yes. But maybe you're just on edge because last time you saw Uma she spelled Ben."

"Maybe... How are you?"

"You mean besides being nauseous?"

"Have you told Doug?"

"No...."

"Evie you need to tell him."

"I know, and I will. I want to get it confirmed first. Just because a test says I'm pregnant doesn't mean that I am."

"You're pregnant?" the girls turned to find Carlos and Jay staring at Evie.

"Oh, you guys have great timing. Don't they have great timing Evie?" Mal turned to her best friend.

"Perfect," Evie muttered.

"Are you pregnant Evie?" Carlos asked again. Evie was silent.

"Well?" Mal looked at her.

"You're not helping," Evie said.

"I'm not trying to help," Mal said shrugging. 

"I might be pregnant...." Evie said and with that Jay and Carlos turned around and started going back inside. 

"Are you gonna kill Doug?" Mal asked.

"Of course not. We're not gonna kill him," Carlos said opening the door. "We're just gonna hurt him very, very bad...." He said going back inside.

"Oh, no," Evie said as her eyes widened. The girls ran after them. 

They found the boys in Doug's dorm room. Jay was holding him up against the wall by his collar. 

"When we're done with you, you're gonna wish you hadn't touched Evie," Jay said.

"What are you talking about?" Doug asked scared. 

"You don't know?" Carlos asked.

"Know what? I don't know what you're talking about," Doug said quickly.

"I HAVEN'T TOLD HIM YET!" Evie yelled as she came in the room. Jay and Carlos gave Evie a look and set Doug down.

"Haven't told me what?" Doug asked glancing at Jay and Carlos, then at Evie and Mal.

"Doug.... I'm pregnant," Evie said.

Not another cliffhanger! The next chapter will be out October 11th. :)
