Patton:

I almost jumped out of my skin when I heard a knock at my door. Some of my drink spilled on the counter and I quickly wiped it up. I went to my door and opened it. There stood Patton with a cheesy grin on his face.

I smiled. "Oh hi Patton!" I could feel the butterflies flutter in my stomach, but I ignored them.

"Hello Y/n. How are you this gloomy day?" He asked, stepping inside.

I sighed and closed the front door. "I'm doing fine and you?"

"Well I am doing fantastic!" He replied, sounding super chipper.

"I can see that. May I ask why you came for a visit?" I asked.

"I just wanted to ask you a question." He responded. "Y/n, will you go out with me this weekend, say 7 pm?"

I started to choke on air and coughed. "Wh-what?" I wheezed, still coughing.

He gave me a concerned look. "Are you okay? You sound like you're choking. Do I need to call 911?" He sounded so scared.

I regained my breath and said, "What?"
He smiled again. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me this weekend."

"Are you sure?" The words slipped out of my mouth and I quickly covered my mouth.

He gave me a confused look. "Yeah, I'm sure."

I bit my lip. Should I say yes? Should I say no? What's the worse that could happen? It could just be a casual date and if nothing worked out we could just go back to being friends. Yeah, that sounded like a great idea.

I nodded and his smile grew, if that's even possible. "Oh thank you Y/n! I will pick you up around 7 this Saturday!" And with that he was gone.

I leaned against my door frame and smiled to myself. This time, I let the butterflies grow.

Logan:

I knocked on Thomas's door, a huge smile on my face. Thomas answered and instantly said, "He's in his room. I'm sure you want to see him."

I nodded and headed to Logan's room. I peeked into his room to notice he wasn't actually in there. Shrugging to myself, I slid in and set up my perfect plan on his bed. I opened one Encyclopedia to a picture of an eye and the other to a heart. I set the CD's next to a picture of Logan. After everything was set up, I hid in his closet for him to come back.

I heard his footsteps and him stop at his bed. I smiled to myself. I could just barely hear him scoff before he slammed the two Encyclopedias. I opened the closet and smiled at him. He looked at me and rolled his eyes. I became perplexed.

"Logan? What's wrong?" I asked.

"It's Logic." He replied simply, putting everything away.

"Wha-Logan! What's going on?" I was getting worried. He didn't like it when I called him Logic. Why was he making me call him Logic now?

"Nothing. Now would you please vacate my room? I'm terribly busy and I have no time for sweaty palms and nausea." He stated, making his way over to his desk.

It took me a moment to register what he just said. When I finally understood, I started laughing. "Oh Logan! That's so sweet!"

He looked back at me, confused. "Pardon?"

"You care about me!" I explained, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He unwrapped my arms from his neck. "No, I don't. I'm sick and I don't want you to get infected as well, though you're much too perfect to ever get sick."
