Patton:

I tapped my chin thoughtfully as I looked at the array of colors Patton had chosen. There were originals, metallics, neons, and sparkly. I had to admit, he had good taste.

"Well?" Patton asked, coming up from behind me. "What are we painting tonight?"

I picked up a can of white. "Skulls."

"Skulls?"

"Skulls." I nodded in affirmation. I started to spray paint the base of my school on the side of the building we were tagging tonight.

He gulped. "O-okay."

I sighed and looked at him unamused. "You know you don't have to paint skulls if you don't want to Pattycakes. It doesn't matter to me." I shrugged.

He breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Y/n. I was hoping to paint a big, ferocious dragon."

I shook a can of gray paint as I looked at him weirdly. "Never would have pegged you for a dragon lover. I thought you preferred more kittens and puppies."

"Yeah but wait till you see MY dragon." He smiled. "It's going to be the best!"

I chuckled. "I'm looking forward to it."

I continued to shade in my skull as Patton got to work on making a dark violet dragon. I had to admit, from a few glances, it looked grotesque and amazing! I didn't know old Pat-man had it in him. I continued to shade my skull and add the eyes and teeth until I had a picture of a skull from the anime Soul Eater. I made two more on the side to make it perfectly symmetrical. Death the Kid would be proud.

As I stood back and admired my work, Patton was putting a coat of sparkly purple on the fire surrounding his black and blue dragon. It looked like it was about to jump off the wall and attack. I stared at his in awe.

"It's amazing Patton! Very well painted!" I praised.

He blushed. "You think so?"

"I know so." I nodded and kissed his cheek. Clapping my hands together, I started to put the paint cans away. "Now, where are we going to tag next?" I asked.

"The police station," Patton exclaimed.

I perked my eyebrow up. "Oh? Why there?"

He shrugged. "I think it would look nice with a dragon and a skull on the side of it."

I chuckled and ruffled his hair. "I suppose you're right. C'mon, we better get going before sunrise."

He nodded and we were off. I was excited to be tagging the police station. It seemed so risky, yet I knew we could pull it off. I started imaging the respect we would get on the street if we pulled this off. It would be like heaven!

When we arrived, we grabbed some paint and quickly started painting. Instead of making a skull, I was making a realistic heart bleeding through the bones of the ribcage. It was my representation of what jail was like and was perfect for the side of the station. Patton was painting a dragon spewing fire along the side of the building, with little swirls of smoke and magic around it. It looked just as great as my heart.

Adding the finishing touches I grabbed my favorite color and painted my "signature" with Patton doing the same. I high-fived him. "We did amazing."

"Amazing enough for you to go behind bars." I turned to see an angry looking officer glaring at us from the end of the alleyway.

I whipped my head back around and screamed, "SCATTER!" Before throwing all of the cans towards the officer. We took off running in the opposite direction.
