DOC MARTENS hit the pavement with a fast pace, the strap of a backpack fixed on his shoulder. The brunette had his head lowered to the ground, teeth sinking into his plump lips, definitely damaging them with this action. He ignored the slamming of the door he had just walked out of and threw his backpack on the hood of his boyfriend's car. He got out his pocketknife, glancing to the windows of the house to check if Yoongi was looking and started scratching his way in the smooth black surface of the car door. Soon he created the words: "asshole"
The brunette snickered and dashed out of the driveway for real now, slinging his backpack on his shoulder again. Yoongi would definitely notice the word and he'll get angry with Taehyung but the brunette didn't care at the moment. His boyfriend hit him enough times already as it was so it couldn't really get any worse.
He hummed a sad tune, remembering he should practice playing it on the piano again. His love for music was what brought him and Yoongi together. Taehyung wanted a piano teacher and the older was just that. After having more make out sessions and sex than actual playing the piano Taehyung decided to just study it on his own. After all, Yoongi wasn't that good of a teacher anyway. Not that he'd tell his boyfriend that or he'd have fresh bruises again.
Lost in thought the boy swerved on the sidewalk, turning into a small street that was usual used by children to play in. A playground and skatepark were next to it but Taehyung didn't bothering looking up. His brown eyes were trained on his shoes, taking step by step until-
"Hey! Get out the way!"
The brunette had only so little time to glance up before he felt a weight colliding with his, resulting into both of the boys tumbling to the ground. A skateboard rolled past and crashed into a tree, falling over with the wheels still turning.
Taehyung grabbed his head, groaning at the pain thudding through his skull. He felt a hand grabbing his and before he could react he was pulled up by someone, staring directly into the eyes of a black haired boy.
'He's hot', Taehyung thought, not so subtly checking him out.
"Sorry for that", the raven head scratched the back of his neck, "I just skated around the block and since it's been empty for the past hour I hadn't expected you to pop up around the corner".
Taehyung felt all his limbs hurting, eyes focused on his bleeding knee.
"Oh shit", the boy gasped, kneeling down and examining the wound, "I have something for that".
The boy rumbled around in his pockets, his tongue poking out of his mouth. A smile formed on his lips as he finally found what he was looking for and pulled out a bandage.
"It has unicorns on it", Taehyung deadpanned as he saw the design of the bandage.
Jungkook chuckled, "What? Are you too cool for that um-"
"Taehyung".
"Nice to bump into you Taehyung", the younger gently placed the bandage on his wound and got back up, "My name's Jungkook".
"Why would I care?", Taehyung stuffed his hands in his pockets, "It's not like we'll see each other again so this is basically wasting time".
"If you look at it like that... You sure are an angsty one", Jungkook trailed off, "Have you crashed into another skater on your way here? Your face is all bruised".
Taehyung's eyes widened slightly but then he realized he didn't need to explain himself to a stranger, he could just walk away. That's what he did. He threw Jungkook a last glance and brushed past him, "Thanks for the bandage".
"Uh- um you're welcome", Jungkook said profoundly confused, turning around to watch the brunette saunter off, "Sorry for crashing into you".
Taehyung just raised his hand as a signal it was okay and turned the corner. He only had to walk a short distance to his flat. His knee hurt a little but his mind didn't bother to fixate on it, rather on the person who caused it. Taehyung decided that the boy had been handsome, maybe even more so than his boyfriend. Even though he knew he couldn't leave Yoongi, he was still thinking about how it would be to date the hot skater.
Said hot skater grabbed his skateboard off the ground, dusting the grass and dirt off I before stepping onto it and pursuing his way. Jungkook decided he'd stop by Jimin on the way to his house, knowing the latter would appreciate the company. Thoughts about the pretty brunette filled his system but he knew he shouldn't expect too much of it. The other had been rather cold and definitely not interested. Who said he was even gay? Though Jungkook couldn't help but worry about the several bruises on the other's tan skin. He hadn't given Jungkook an answer and even though it wasn't obligated to answer a complete stranger, Jungkook still thought Taehyung had been hiding something.
Before Jungkook had even the chance to knock, the door flew open and a brightly smiling Jimin was visible.
"Kookie!", he smiled, pulling the younger into a hug, "It's been so long!"
"Sorry hyung", Jungkook closed the door behind him, "Finals were a mess and picking a college even more".
"It's okay", Jimin smiled, hearing a 'ding' noise and running to the kitchen. Jungkook followed the smaller, mouth watering once he smelled the sweet smell of cookies.
"I was baking cookies cause I was bored", Jimin pulled the cookies out of the oven and placed them down, taking out the decoration.
"You should be bored more often", Jungkook chuckled, licking his lips as he saw the golden brown treats.
"Want one?"
"You didn't even have to ask", the younger smiled, taking a cookie and biting into it, "You really should be more bored often".
"I luckily have a roommate who encourages both cooking and eating", Jimin smiled back and decorated the cookies, "Jin will be thrilled once he sees I actually made something".
"He'll be proud", Jungkook said, munching on his third cookie already.
"If there will still be something to show him", Jimin laughed, taking the cookies away from Jungkook, "Don't you have your singing lesson in a bit?"
"Yeah but I thought you might wanted some company after... you know", Jungkook stuffed his hands in his pocket, awkwardly glancing around the room.
"I'm getting better Kook", Jimin smiled reassuringly, "The doctors said I might get my last chemo treatment next month!"
"That's great Jimin hyung!", Jungkook smiled back, "I'll miss the wigs though. They looked good on you".
"They were itchy as fuck", Jimin laughed, "But I'll be happy to have the fluffy hair back. Maybe I'll dye it or something".
"I'll go with you when you do that. Maybe I'll dye mine brown", Jungkook ruffled his black locks, "Black gets boring".
"I can't wait", the older smiled fondly, "Now go home before your teacher scolds you".
"Okay okay love you hyung! See you later!"
Jungkook grabbed his skateboard and made his way to his house, knowing his teacher will definitely scold him.
