JUNGKOOK concluded that waking up next to a sleepy and messy haired Taehyung was something he wanted to experience every day. Sadly, he was always remembered of the fact the redhead had a boyfriend, though he wasn't sure if that relationship would last that long.
Taehyung nuzzled closer, basking in the warmth the younger was providing him with. He was still drunk with sleep so he didn't think of yesterday's events yet, wanting nothing more to stay in bed with the skater all day and forget about everything for a while.
Sadly, Jungkook had to leave since he had singing lessons at 11 am. The younger slipped from beneath the covers, fighting back the urge to give into the temptation to just stay with Taehyung and sleep the day away. He ignored the whines coming from the redhead and pulled on his shoes, before giving the older a short peck on the head.
"I'll come back as soon as possible. Don't open the door or pick up when Yoongi calls okay?"
Feeling satisfied when Taehyung promised him, he finally dared to leave, knowing the older was safely hidden underneath the bedsheets for now. He slipped out the door and walked off the stairs, an unusual light feeling settling in his chest.
Jungkook knew he was slowly falling for the older and he was surely letting himself do it, knowing he'd have to come to terms of liking Taehyung some day. He didn't want to lie to himself so he let himself bask in the feeling of fondness taking over him every time he thought of the pretty boy with the red hair.

Singing lessons were boring like always, but this time Jungkook tried his best, knowing once he was let go he could see Taehyung again. He knew it sounded cheesy but his mind constantly wandered to the older whenever he tried singing a love song. Gosh, he was such a teenager with a stupid teen crush on an older man. Okay, their age gap was only three years but still Jungkook felt like Taehyung was much more mature than him.
"You can go now Jungkook", his music professor dismissed him with a shake of a hand. Jungkook's parents were quite rich so they hired a teacher who'd visit him at home three times a week. Even though his parents were rich, Jungkook had always tried rebelling against their fancy behavior. Instead of wearing high class clothes, he went for ripped jeans and old tacky hoodies. He worked for his money, instead of asking his parents for it. He was quite proud of himself.
Once he was dismissed he grabbed his skateboard and made his way to the older's house. It had been three hours since he had last seen Taehyung but he came to the conclusion that he had been worrying ever since leaving him.
Something didn't feel right, like the pit of his stomach knew something was about to go wrong. The ravenhead tried to comfort himself but the sickness only grew the closer he came to Taehyung's apartment. He skated faster, barely dodging a few people and lanterns in time. He jumped off his board and hastily rang the bell, hoping his fear was misplaced.
"Come on come on buzz me in", he muttered, tapping his foot against the pavement. He eventually heard the familiar buzz and rushed inside, almost tripping over the stairs. The elevator ride was the most anxious situation he had ever been in. He stormed out of the elevator and into the flat, knowing Taehyung almost always let the door unlocked.
"Taehyung?", he yelled nervously, not finding the redhead anywhere in the bedroom.
"Jungkookie".
The younger swiftly turned around and felt his heart break, his hands started to shake harshly. There stood the redhead- no he didn't have red hair anymore. The soft locks were now dyed blonde which complimented his tan skin but Jungkook easily figured out the older fitted every hair color. No- this wasn't his main reason to freak out. It were the numerous bruises and wounds littering his face and the rest of body.
"Wh-Why?", he stuttered out with a shaky breath.
Taehyung's face stood disappointment, mostly in himself, and he averted his gaze to the floor.
"I-I fixed things with Y-Yoongi", he fumbled with the blood stained sweater, "H-He forgave m-me and w-we agreed on d-dyeing my h-hair another color. He ch-chose it".
Jungkook felt his mouth run dry.
The older felt the tense atmosphere thickening and he quickly looked up.
"D-Don't you like i-it?", he asked unsure, his usual proud posture had crumbled until he looked small and slumped, done with life.
"You lied", Jungkook growled through gritted teeth, anger surging through his veins. Anger towards Yoongi, frustration and annoyance aimed at Taehyung for being so stupid, and most of all angry with himself for not staying with the older.
Taehyung flinched at the low tone, now fully trembling.
"I-It was for the b-best. Yoongi and I b-belong together", the blonde stuttered, convincing himself this was for the best.
"Really? You think so?", Jungkook scoffed, crossing his arms.
The blonde disliked seeing this side of the usual casual younger. He hummed, not knowing how else to answer him.
"What about us?", Jungkook decided to drop the bomb.
Taehyung averted his gaze to the side, "What about us? We were never something".
Jungkook felt his heart crack a little at those words but he kept strong.
"We won't be able to see each other anymore since Yoongi won't let you", Jungkook tried to reason, letting Taehyung see in his decision had been bad.
"T-Then that's how it is", Taehyung shrugged, ignoring his own consciousness yelling at him to stop being a fucking idiot.
A long and heavy silence hung around them, weighing both the boys down. Jungkook's body was a mess. His head was trying to come to terms with the words Taehyung had spoken just now while his heart felt like an empty hole.
"Alright", Jungkook spoke, his voice now a void of any emotion, "Have a good life after this Kim. Or not. I won't care".
He stepped to the door, ignoring the pained look the blonde gave him. Before he walked out he halted his movements, eyes still locked on the floor.
"You could've have broken up with him. You could've tried working it out with me".
Taehyung spoke in a strained voice,"I don't think of you that way-"
"At least I don't fucking hit you Taehyung!", Jungkook turned around angrily, "I would have never hurt you! I would have made you feel loved! I don't care whatever color your hair is, you fit with everything anyway. Even if you decided on going boad I'd love you all the same. I love you Taehyung, I care for you. But you let that go and chose for that asshole who doesn't care about your wellbeing".
His chest heaved by the outburst, clutching his heart that was hurting immensely. Taehyung never replied so he got the message and walked out, slamming the door shut.
"Goodbye", he muttered though the blonde couldn't hear it anymore.
"I-I'm sorry Jungkook. I love you too but I can't".
