JUNGKOOK was planning on leaving after staying at Taehyung's apartment for a small hour but the harsh rainfall made him hesitant. He kept glancing at the window while tying his shoes slowly. It was already night time and the streetlights had turned on a few minutes ago. Taehyung noticed the younger's dawdling and rolled his eyes, placing his large hands on the boy's shoulders to turn his back to the window.
"You can stay if you want", Taehyung finally sighed, a small smile playing on lips afterwards. He saw the boy's eyes literally light up at hearing his request. He dropped his hands from Jungkook's shoulder after the skater excitedly nodded, kicking off his shoes as quick as they got on.
"Oh- but I don't have any spare clothes with me", Jungkook tilted his head to the side.
"I like wearing oversized clothes so I'm sure they'll fit your muscle pig body", Taehyung replied with a chuckle, walking back to the couch. Jungkook followed him a bit awkwardly, the realization of staying the night with Taehyung now finally settling in.
"I now realized I barely know anything about you", he started, sitting criss-crossed on the couch, his body turned to Taehyung. The latter shrugged.
"I mean- we barely know each other because we've met four times and all those times were accidental and very short", Taehyung laid back against the headrest.
"Two of the times were you getting bumped into by a skateboarder, one time because you accidentally became acquaintances with my best friend and one time because I saw you sitting on a bench", Jungkook laughed, remembering their short and sort of tensed moments together.
The younger might haven't been aware of it but Taehyung highly appreciated the way Jungkook framed his words. He didn't say 'crying' or 'beaten up' just that they met on that bench. He was thankful for that and smiled even though Jungkook was looking at his lap.
"Are you hungry?", Jungkook spoke up after he was done rambling about teaching his friend Namjoon who was literally the god of destruction how to skateboard and miserable failing at it.
"Are you?", Taehyung aksed, resting his feet on the small coffee table.
Jungkook shyly nodded, hearing his own stomach rumble loudly. Taehyung chuckled and got out the pizza take-out flyer he has always lying around somewhere. He chucked it at Jungkook who caught it and immediately started scanning the menu, hungrily licking his lips. He was unaware of the stare that followed his tongue gliding against his bottom lip. Taehyung swiftly averted his gaze in case Jungkook would notice.
"I'm taking pepperoni", Jungkook finally decided, throwing the flyer back at Taehyung. The older didn't even spare a glance at the menu since he always ordered the same pizza. He took the phone and called the restaurant to place a delivery. He knew they delivered at home so there was no chance of the boys getting through this weather for some food.
While they waited for their food he lent Jungkook some clothes. The younger was now dressed in a black hoodie and grey sweatpants and Taehyung didn't try to hide the fact the raven haired boy looked extremely good in such casual clothes. He hadn't ever noticed it, but when Jungkook was undressing in the bedroom he 'accidently' caught a peek of some black ink on his shoulder. He was curious what tattoo the skaterboy had but he was not willing on admitting he sneaked a peek at him.
When the pizza finally arrived the two boys had already put on some music, singing and dancing along to Big Bang, a common interest they had only just discovered. Jungkook was surprised Taehyung had let go of his usual cool and cold attitude, now acting like a warm and bright person, actually rambling about his favorite kpop groups to Jungkook with seemingly burning passion.
They ate their pizzas in front of the television where a random movie was playing on a low volume but they paid little to no attention to it. Jungkook came to the conclusion that the pretty redhead had one hell of a personality. The person he had known to be rude and distant, was actually very childlike and playful but only after opening up. Jungkook wondered if the next time he'd see Taehyung, the older would still be like this or if he'd return to his old behavior. He really wished the latter wouldn't happen. He really wished this night would never end.
They eventually ended up watching some movies like Deadpool and Big Hero 6. Taehyung fell asleep during the middle of the animation so he never saw Jungkook cry like a baby when Baymax saved Hiro by sacrificing himself. The younger sniffled and wiped the tears away with the back of his hand as soon as the movie ended. He grew tired from crying, damn those cute animated movies, and really wanted to sleep. As much as he wanted to drop dead asleep, he couldn't just let Taehyung sleep on the couch in his own house and get a sore back. So deciding to carry him to the bedroom he stuck his hands underneath Taehyung's legs and shoulders picking the older up and taking him to the bedroom. When he laid the older on the soft mattress Taehyung stirred a little, clutching Jungkook's arm tightly.
"Yoongi", Taehyung mumbled almost inaudible before falling back asleep.
Jungkook didn't really understand what he said and let it slide, figuring Taehyung was too tired to make sense. He trudged back to the couch and flopped down, throwing the blanket over himself which Taehyung was sleeping under only a few minutes ago.
"Goodnight Jungkook", he heard Taehyung yell with a slur, almost drunken from sleep and Jungkook didn't have the power to yell it back so he hummed before he was finally taken to dreamland.
~
Taehyung had gone to sleep in a cozy atmosphere and with the television playing on a soft chatter. He woke up though with loud buzzes coming from the door bell each second, immensely interrupting his sleep. A drowsy Jungkook stumbled into his bedroom with a pillow in hand and a blanket wrapped around him, eyes barely open.
"Noisy loud very loud", he mumbled, face planting himself next to Taehyung. He cradled the pillow in his hands like he was spooning it and nudged Taehyung. The older rolled his eyes and stretched, hearing his limbs pop before going over to the intercom.
"Yeah?", he yawned, ruffling his hair.
"Buzz me in", he heard a gruff voice demand which made his heart race immediately, and not the good sort of racing.
"O-Okay", he nodded, instantly buzzing Yoongi in before rushing to his bedroom where Jungkook had fallen asleep again.
"Get out! Hide! Just- wake the fuck up!", he yelled in panic, pushing Jungkook who fell out of bed from the impact, letting out a pained cry.
"What the hell is wrong with you?", the younger frowned, rubbing his aching back.
"Boyfriend. I have a boyfriend. He's very overprotective and jealous. He'll skin me and you alive if he sees you so hide!", he tried to explain as fast as possible, ushering Jungkook into the closet.
"But-"
"Shush!", Taehyung whispered, sliding the closet door closed before he could say anything else. He quickly disposed of the two pizza boxes and when any evidence of Jungkook sleeping over was gone, he was ready to open the front door where Yoongi walked through only five seconds later.
"Hey", Taehyung smiled nervously, wringing his hands together behind his back. Yoongi eyed him warily and the youngest of the two instantly knew he was fucked. Yoongi knew, didn't he? Jin fucking told him, didn't he?
"Let's talk babe", Yoongi smiled, though to Taehyung it was basically a death treath.
Someday I'm going to kill Jin.
