JUNGKOOK couldn't feel any more like a stalker than he already was feeling. Taehyung had never told him his address and still he was standing at the redhead's door, debating whether or not to ring the bell.
"Snap out of it already", he muttered to himself, "He already knows you followed him home before so just ring the goddamn bell".
And that's what he did. With a pounding heart and shaking hands he rang the bell to Taehyung's apartment. He heard a window opening and looked up to see Taehyung hanging out of the window. The older narrowed his eyes and closed the window before the ravenhead could say anything.
"Oh no you didn't", he grumbled and rang the bell several times to the point it'd be annoying.
He was finally buzzed in and sighed in relief, pushing the door open and taking the stairs to the third floor.
The door to the apartment was already open as he arrived there and he walked inside, closing the door behind him. Taehyung sat on the large windowsill, staring through the window seemingly not acknowledging him.
"Taehyung".
The older hummed.
"You ran away because you heard what Jin told me, right?"
Taehyung noticeably stiffened and he craned his neck to glare at the younger.
"Don't talk about that guy in my home", he hissed which surprised Jungkook.
"I didn't come here to talk about him", Jungkook explained, stepping closer and sitting himself down on the couch close to where Taehyung was sitting, "I came here to tell you I didn't believe a single word he told me".
This made Taehyung arch an eyebrow, confusion written on his face.
"Why?"
"His explanation just... didn't make sense to me. You're not aggressive, you don't do drugs or overuse alcohol. You're not a bad influence".
"And how do you know?", Taehyung spoke with an amused expression.
"Because aggressive people don't break down in tears when someone beat them up. Also, you're far too weak to become a fighter", Jungkook pointed out, glancing at Taehyung's lanky frame.
"Is that an insult?"
Jungkook shrugged, "I'm just saying you don't look threatening to me".
Taehyung frowned. He was first relieved Jungkook hadn't believed Jin but now he was just plainly annoyed at the younger thinking he was no threat. He wanted to prove him wrong.
The redhead suddenly lunged at Jungkook who sat on the couch. The younger hadn't seen this attack coming and was startled for a moment, feeling the impact of the other hitting him. They tumbled on the couch until Jungkook was finally able to push the older down, pinning his hands down next to his head. Taehyung struggled against the grip but he quickly figured out he, indeed, was too weak.
"Well that didn't last long", Jungkook smirked amused at the annoyed blush spreading on the older's cheeks.
"Get off me you prick", Taehyung huffed, feeling his wrists being released shortly after those words left his mouth.
"Well I think I made my point", Jungkook smiled, sitting down next to a frustrated redhead. Taehyung huffed and brushed his fringe out of his eyes.
Jungkook watched him do so and the older caught him staring intensely.
"You look good with that hair color", Jungkook blurted out without thinking. His cheeks bloomed a deep red and he tried hiding his embarrassment by looking around the apartment.
Taehyung rolled his eyes and laid back against the couch rest, crossing his arms.
"I know you're unsure about what Jin told you but I know you don't want to believe what he said all because you have a stupid crush on me", Taehyung spoke up, seeing the older visibly tense.
Jungkook didn't answer and instead kept silent because he honestly didn't know what to say to that.
"You're not denying it?", Taehyung decided to ask.
The skater shrugged, "Would it matter if I denied the statement?"
This surprised Taehyung, but to be honest, Jungkook seemed to have the habit of surprising the redhead.
"But, hey, that doesn't matter because you have a boyfriend and all that so don't worry about me trying to 'woo' you", Jungkook chuckled nervously, feeling incredible awkward.
Taehyung hummed, seeming casual but on the inside he began feeling nervous. The insecurity he had been feeling before Jungkook arrived came back, but even worse this time. Jin had seen them sleeping, cuddling together. If Yoongi came to know of that, Taehyung was as good as dead. And of course Jin would tell Yoongi because the oldest wanted nothing more than the couple to be ripped apart.
~
Yoongi growled, averting his gaze from Jin who was sitting next to him on the couch.
"He'll pay for this".
