Chapter 7

When I finish Peeta gives me a sweet smile.He stinks of blood and the side of his head is all sticky.Suddenly I remember what just happened.Peeta was shot and nearly died! I blot up and Peeta gives me a worried look.
"What's wrong?" He says raising his eyebrows.I grab his head and turn it to the side. There's not bullet? Surly he wasn't stabbed? No there would have been evidence then? So why is there not bullet? I must have been holding his head for a while because Peeta speaks "Katniss? Are you ok? What's wrong with my head?" I look into Peetas eyes. There worried. "Peeta what happened?" I ask finally. Peeta starts "Kat-" "NO PEETA,TELL ME HAPPENED!" I'm worried now. Peeta sighs "Ok.." he sits up against the wall and begins.. "I don't really know what happened myself but I'll tell you what I think did. I walked inside and took off my jacket. After fighting with Haymitch there was a pounding pain in the side of my head,so I decided to have a rest before Ceaser came." Everyone seemed to remember the interview except me!
"So I walked into the living room,and that's when things started to get weird. When I walked in the doorway my "headache" got worse. I started to feel dizzy so I made my way to the couch. Then I froze literally froze I couldn't move my limbs at all! I tried to walk but I couldn't! That's when I started to hear this beeping in my ear. It started of small but got really loud.I still couldn't move at all. And then I blacked out, that's all I can remember?Katniss?" I was so lost in thoughts that I hadn't even noticed he finished. Why couldn't he move? What was that beeping? Why did he black out? "Sorry I was just thinking,are you ok now? I ask him even though I know he's not "just a little dizzy but I'm alright" Peeta answers "Well you don't look alright" I snap and Peeta gives me a surprised look. "What do you mean I don't look alright?" Peeta lifts his hand to his head. He dabs the side of it and brings his hand back down to examine it. I bight my lip. Does he not know he was bleeding? Peeta stares at his hand for a minute,then looks at me. Peetas hand is all blood and you can see fear in his eyes. He looks at me then his hand again,"Katniss?" Peeta asks "What's wrong with me?"
