My fist drives into Marcus' face and the everything goes haywire! Marcus falls back onto the ground and Bruce runs at me ready to ponce. Gale fires his gun and instead of hitting Bruce it hits my hip. I drop to the ground while clutching my side. "Heh Heh good shot!" Laughs Bruce. Gale smiles "Thanks" He walks towards me and kicks my side "AGH!" I scream. "You ok Catnip?" I just stare at him "H-how could you?" I say gritting my teeth with the pain. I hear Peeta scream as he tries to break free. And from the corner of my eye I can see Haymitch emerging from the bush and running at Gale. I smirk at him. "Heh what are you-" Gales cut off by Haymitches fist to his face. Haymitch knocks Gale off his feet and starts punching the shit out of him. Suddenly Bruce grabs my shoulders and drags me towards the van. "AGH HAYMITCH!!" I shout as he tries to throw me inside the van. "Oh sorry" Bruce says "Was I not gentle enough?" Haymitch gets up and runs towards us leaving Gale on the ground knocked out. But just as Haymitch is nearly at the van, Marcus holds out a hand and trips him. Haymitch falls and hits his head off the hard ground. "HAYMITCH!" I cry. Marcus gets up and kicks Haymitches shoulder and pushes him to the side. Marcus grabs Peeta and pulls him towards the van. Peeta struggles against him for awhile but finally gives in and lets Marcus drag him toward the van. Bruce throws me inside and I wince with the pain in my hip as I hit the ground. Peeta is then pushed inside by Marcus and I crawl towards him. Bruce locks the door leaving us in the dark. Somehow I find Peetas hand and hold it. We stay quiet for a long time until Peeta finally says "Katniss?" "Yeah?" I answer. "I can't believe you did all that for me? I mean I almost killed you?" Peeta sighs. "I did it because I love you..." I answer again. I move over carefully and lay my head on his lap. I can feel he fingers running through my hair. "And we're gonna get through this" I say "I promise" "Always?" He asks "Always" I answer...
