When you see me, you think "perfect". I'm not.
"Hey Kaitlyn"
She doesn't even look at me just walks by, talking and laughing with her new friends
"Hi Adri"
"What do u want?" She responds nastily.
"S-sorry," I say as I walk backwards. There are people on every side of me, whispering, and laughing at me, pointing and yelling
"Everyone hates you and we always will! you should go to hell!"
Then they push me and I'm falling, falling, falling.........I wake up, gasping, to the sound of my alarm clock.
"Great," I mutter "First day of 9th grade." I say as I reach for my alarm to shut it off.
"Hanna," My mom calls from the kitchen "I'm leaving so you're better start to get ready!"
"Fine." I groan loudlyFive minuets later I step out of the shower and start blowdrying my short blond hair while texting Kaitlyn, my best friend since 6th grade,
"Ready 4 the 1st day of hs?"
"Omg nooooo!"
"Well u better get ready, starts in 20min"
"Crap! G2 walk 2 school!"
"Haha 😝"
"Well g2g"
"L8tr g8tr"
"Ttyl"
"Ttfn"After I hung up on Kaitlyn I finished getting dressed, I glanced up at the mirror and smiled. I was wearing my light blue high-waisted shorts with my white peasant-blouse type shirt and my scarf that Kaitlyn got for me in Paris a couple years ago. For jewelry I was wearing my usually necklace, my chalice necklace, for earrings I was wearing my blue feather earrings that complimented my short, swept, dirty blonde hair. On my feet I was wearing my favorite blue and gold sandals. The outfit complimented my tall, not-super-skinny-but-not-fat body type.
I hear my mom yelling at me that the bus was here. I don't have time to eat breakfast so I just race to the bus.
"Coming mom!!"
As I get on the bus I look for my best friend Kayly.
"Hanna! Over here!"
I finally see her waving at me. I laugh and sit down.
"Hey, so do you think Kaitlyn will get back together with Jake?" I ask
"I don't know, maybe. Hey so do you think Sam likes me? he's so cute!"
While Kayly went on about Sam and some makeup technique I looked down at my wrists and sighed
"Hey you ok?" Kayly asks
"Yeah, I'm fine." I respond
"Are you sure, you look really distracted."
"Yeah just thinking."
"Well ok then. Back to my story."
As Kayly went back to her story I just sat there thinking.
