They can be a light in the dark,
A laugh in a sob,
Or that one little spark
That ignites a fire of love.
They can help find you
When you feel lost,
Or stick like glue,
No matter the cost.
Sisters are great;
Most stand by your side
Every night, every day,
They'll be your guide.
But sisters aren't always
Related by blood.
If not, there'd be days
that are absolute crud.
As long as someone's there,
and they love you,
and they care
or you fight sometimes, too,
In a way, that girl is your sister.
Don't ever lose her
Because there is not quite the same
Person who has that flame
Of a sister.
