At the same time Lithos and his friends collided into the odd group of Cairo, Thera and Simon, James and Godric had apparated onto a busy town alley. Catching no muggles eyes, they stepped out onto the cobblestone street, lined with shops and houses, businesses and markets.
"I didnt know muggles were so..." Godric started.
  "Advanced?" James asked.
"Thats about right"
"Alright" James said, pulling the letter out of his cloak pocket. "Were close to it. Just seem as if your the students grandfather or something along that so we can take them back to Hogwarts" He said, stuffing the letter back in his pocket and look about. Godric shared an offended look.
"I play the grandfather?" He asked. James looked at him.
"yes and?"
"You think I look old enough to be a grand-
You know what, never mind" Godric huffed.
They began walking down the street, admiring the muggles work. Godric had bumped into a rather pretty girl and he smiled slyly at her, before James sighed and yanked him away. Turning a corner, the asylum was at the very end of the street, and very visible. The two stood in the street, staring at its brick architecture.
"It doesn't seem in bad condition" Godric shrugged. James squinted his eyes and stared hard at the building. "Maybe. You don't know what goes on behind closed doors" he said. They walked down the dead end, approaching its wide open gates.
"Its just a giant rectangle" Godric whispered. "It doesn't seem elaborate" he said, making a point.
James and Godric reached the large front wooden door. reaching, Godric knocked. The door swung open and revealed a miserable old woman wearing all black robes, along with her gray hair tightly pinned into a bun. James and Godric had made rather odd facial expressions, unsure how to respond to the angry looking muggle.
"If your here to visit a patient, please come in to the front" She said strictly. James and Godric looked at each other before entering.
Once they entered, it was only a long concrete hallway, with door down the halls on both sides. A wooden desk sat promptly in front of them, with another angry old woman sitting behind it.
"Bethany, these lot want to visit someone" The lady said, before disappearing to the left hallway into another room.
Bethany, the woman behind the desk, pulled out a rather thick leather bound journal and flipped open to the most recent page.
"Who are you here for?" Bethany asked.
"Uh- er we are here for a certain patient that got a letter from a place named Hogwarts?" Godric said without an ounce of confidence. Bethany raised a grey eyebrow, deepening her wrinkles.
"Are you a relative?" She asked Godric.
"Yes?" He questioned. Bethany looked at him with suspicion. Godric cleared his throat quickly. "Yes. Yes we are. Im the patients grandfather" He said.
Bethany chuckled softly and kept staring at him. "Then whose that?" She questioned.
"My brother?" Godric said with question. In the meantime, James had wanted to smack Godric across the head, as he was looking embarrassed and suspicious at the same time. Bethany scribbled something down.
"Names?" She asked, prepping to write in the thick journal.
"Uh, Peter George" Godric said. he could feel the sweat dripping down his neck, soaking his cloak.
"Okay, Peter George. And you, whats your name?" She asked James. He smiled kindly and spoke with a shake in his voice.
"James George"
Bethany smiled and wrote their names in the journal and their visit time. They were closer to the student by the minute, they could feel it.
"She's on the third floor. The door all the way at the end. Its one on one with the patients, but our workers don't visit the locked ward. Now I know her last name, too. She arrived here with a first name and nothing else. Kept getting those letters. WE sent one back, hoping those bastards don't contact us again." Bethany threatened.
"Thank you ma'am" james smiled, before he yanked Godric to the left where a spiral staircase sat at the end of the hall.

'You are the worst liar I've seen in all my life." James insulted.

They climbed the stairs, passing the second floor and onto the third. The two walked onto the third floor, where it was abnormally quiet. The girls cell door was visible, since it was at the very end.
Looking at the doors with a small window, Godric felt a shiver being sent through his body. The whole building was filled with an uneasy feeling. They approached her door, and James turned the knob, opening it a crack. He poked his head in and saw a young girl with bright red hair sitting in the corner.
"Hello?" James asked softly. The girl shrieked and got up, grasping the corner of the room as if she was going to escape, but there was no way out.
"Shh its okay. My name is Mr. Kedt and this is Mr. Gryffindor" He kindly smiled and gestured to Godric who was slowly entering the room. Both professors in the room, the girl began breathing rapidly, heaving, and gasping for air. "We're here because your special" james held his hands out. The girl stopped heaving for air and slid down the wall, curling her knees up to her chest. Godric hit James' shoulder, grabbing his attention.
"James. Look at the walls" He whispered. They looked at the concrete walls and saw they were engraved. As if something was seared into it, and as if veins were crawling on the walls. It stood out, like lightning struck concrete. james looked back to the scared girl who seemed like she wanted to sleep. James crouched down and took a closer look at her. Tilting his head, he noticed one eye was a hazel color, whilst the other was a deep violet.
"Whats your name?" He asked.
"Isla Grace" She said quietly. "Are you here to yell at me again?" Isla's voice became shaky and hot tears formed in her eyes. "I swear I'm not the Devil. I never asked for this" She started crying and Godric crouched down with James, feeling pity.
"We are here because you are very special. Im going to make this quick. I don't want to get in trouble, but, would you like to leave here and go somewhere else, where you are treated kindly? Where there are children just like you. A place to call home?" James spoke with forbearance as she halted crying, looking up at James.
"There are people like me?" Isla breathed. The idea seemed outrageous to her. "They can do what I can do?" She asked.
"Well Miss Grace what can you do?" Godric asked with heart. She looked between the professors anxiously before leaving the corner and standing beside wall in the room. james and Godric stood up, rather anxious themselves.
"Dont touch the walls" She ordered.
Isla put her hand to the cold concrete and stared intently at it. In seconds, odd purple veins began crawling up her forearm and into her hand, and soon onto the wall. They snaked and creeped everywhere before the wall started to crack. AS if it was going to implode in a heartbeat, Isla pulled her hand off the wall and turned to James and Godric who were dismayed and, surprisingly, spooked.
"Well, Isla. Not exactly, but you can meet students who can do other things with wands" James said. Isla hadn't need to hear more before saying she wanted to leave. Godric instructed her to stay there, while they went back downstairs to attempt and take Isla out. Closing the door, James and Godric speed walked down the hall.
"I know magic is real, but that is not magic, Godric. Thats something dark and man made. A human cannot possess something like that from birth" James said, focused on getting Isla out as they climbed down the spiral stairs, passing the second floor. "It can go two ways. Either she can be a threat or tremendously help Hogwarts and I don't think its option two." James muttered as they were walking back to the desk.
"Really? Honestly, all I'm thinking about right now is how much better Helga could've handled the situation" Godric said quietly as they approached Bethany.
"Yes, gentlemen?" Bethany sighed.
'We'd like to bring Isla back home" James said. Bethany laughed.
"No patient leaves Waterbrooke Asylum. Unless we determine they are healthy enough, then they leave"
Sighing in annoyance, James looked to his left and right, making sure nobody was watching. He pulled his wand out fast, Pointing it at Bethany.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Godric hissed.
"Imperio"
A cloud of green emerged from his wand and it wafted over Bethany and she smiled blissfully.
"Here are all the records we have of her. Have a nice day" She said. James snatched the one paper and sprinted back down the hall.
"James" Goodrich growled, chasing after him.
At Isla's door, James swung it open rather harshly Godric almost crashing into him.
"Okay Miss Grace. It will be a sickening ride but we will be out of here in no time" He smiled. "Here grab my arm"
Confused, Isla held his arm and James gave Godric a 'Lets-go-NOW' look. Dissaparating with a loud crack, Godric groaned and disappeared after him, leaving the empty cell, well, empty.
